Priceless. You know how all those high-stakes baseball card thefts go!

I read that as "the name of your first jet" and I thought, wow, Much loved character from canc has a much more interesting backstory than I ever suspected.

But Playuh doesn't even realize that Nacho is the one behind the break-in. He thinks it was over-zealous "hopped up on speed" baseball card collectors.

Oh how I love those scenes with him, and particularly with him and infinitely-patient Mike E.

I just saw that episode over the weekend, and there's the first one in "Clear". Everyone raves about that episode, but the Carl and Michonne sequences are what make it great to me.

I don't really disagree with much you've said here, but in defense of Carol's keeping her mother's heart under wraps: after what happened with Lizzie and Mika, I am not at all surprised that she was unable to give Sam any bit of motherly love or even empathy. I think going through all that with Lizzie just about put

You and me both, Jtown. IF I survived the first confusing rush of deaths, I really don't have a lot to add to the survival skills of a group. I…can be fairly witty, uh, so, maybe Morale Officer?

IIRC mostly he has hated it for not being Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Lost. To be fair, though, I might be mixing him up with a different reviewer, so take it with a hefty grain of salt.

You know, I almost wonder if having a formal education in literature and drama is a handicap for some people in watching this show. I personally love the show, the darker it is the more I like it, I like the unrelenting misery, I love the characters, I don't mind the talkiness, and the plot holes and inconsistencies

At first I thought you were talking about the model they made of the character, which was used when Rick carried him in to the infirmary, and which Michonne kissed on the forehead. But you're talking about the actual actor playing Carl in the bedside scene - I think it was a good choice, honestly. If you've ever seen

I think we saw tonight that she is realizing that Annhialator Mode is taking a huge toll on her, and it's unsustainable. I love the character of Carol, I think she makes the tough decisions, but it's always been shown previously to be a decision, not just a philosophy she follows by rote. It's starting to become that,

Feel the same way Dave, and have for a long time. I don't bother reading the reviews anymore. I try once or twice a season in the hope that it'll be different, but they're all like this.

Beautiful fellow.

I agree, I didn't hate Jessie or Sam - I didn't even actually hate Ron. I thought they were all pretty believable as written and performed.

I thought Sam was an annoying character, or rather, I found him annoying, *BUT* I also thought he was totally believable as a scared, scarred, traumatized KID. I will admit readily that I have a soft spot for boys (being the mother of a son not much older than Sam's character) but it didn't disappoint me at all that

Yeah, I never got into Mad Men. Loved Breaking Bad and the Wire, couldn't get into the Sopranos, liked Deadwood.

Tonight is the last night I'm giving this one a try. I loved the idea when I first saw it advertised - woo hoo, chop-socky, I LOVE it! But between the lack of interesting drama and the boringly sexist tropes it is just doing nothing for me. I've already got Game of Thrones as my "crapsack sexist b.s. world for women"

Yeah, I view AV Club both at home and on a work computer, and on each one it seems I am randomly signed in to Disqus sometimes and randomly signed into AV Club at others (same name, different avatars). So depending on how AV Club and Disqus have manhandled me that day, I may or may not get a notification. I just

Lookit Mr. Fancypants here, cuddling and having breakfast with his one-night stand!
