This has also gotten me to revisit that Gothic Archies album, which I hadn't heard in a few years. Goddamn is it great. I'd seriously rank it as one of Merritt's best albums, top to bottom.

This is one of those band's who have a big chunk of *great* material, but then a kind of forgettable remainder of material. Always interesting and never boring, but a lot of it is just… not sticky in my brain and or ears.
