Crazy that a show not even 20 episodes in can do a set up episode, and make it riveting.

Buffy Season 3 doesn't quite hit the highs of S2, but it comes close and it's far more consistent. Person of Interest is the only 22 episode show I currently watch, and it feels like such a daunting task to catch up on 5 seasons of the Good Wife at 22 ep's each.
Agree about Buffy S2 it's half brilliant half crap, but

Buffy season 3 would get my 22 episode drama vote, and you have Seinfeld S4, Simpsons S4, and Arrested Development S2.

Is this show really CBS' best? I'd be mighty impressed if it was better than Person of Interest.

Bear is too famous for dancing with the stars.

I don't think Joss has much to do with AOS, and Angel had the big advantage of having well established characters to start the show with. Buffy had 10 likeable characters after it's 16th episode I'm not sure AOS has 1.

Agreed I hype this show to everyone I know. Most people right it off because it's on CBS, and they think it's for old people. That couldn't be farther from the truth this is one of the most cutting edge shows on tv, with amazing writing and performances all around.

Good review that scene where they're deciding if they should kill Heard was just great. Also Root called Reese Lurch so easy A-.

Great episode much better than some crap that gets higher grades around here.

The worst season of Lost smokes this season of AOS. We're 16 episodes in, and the only character worth caring about was one established in the movies. Joss doesn't have much to do with this, and it shows. Sixteen episodes into Buffy we had no fewer than 10 interesting characters.

Judging by the other characters on this show if she's 1/100th as awesome as Root I'll be pleasantly surprised. It's going to be quite a shock to see Amy go from playing one of the best characters on tv to whatever junk the AOS writers come up with.

Why did that cocksucker shoot Doc Cochran for? That seemed like an interesting character played by a good actor and McLargehuge just guns him down. This was better than the usual drek, but still not an A-.

Throw in the most awesome dog ever, and we've got a show.

Shaw should do all gun fights in her bare feet from now on. I like how protective Root is of "Harry" lol( no mention of Fusco being in danger?!). Really liked the ending, and what they're doing with Vigilance.

    The Twilight Zone
    The Simpsons
    Buffy
    a bunch of 80's cartoons

It would be a shame if she left the amazing work she's doing on Person of Interest for this crap show.

It's too bad she can't show up as Root, and wipe out most of the AOS cast.

Root told him to sit what was he supposed to do he was trying to get that chocolate for good behavior.

I don't think they can afford to kill off Root this soon. Shaw and Reese are basically the same character, and they haven't scratched the surface on potential Finch and Root stuff yet.

Root and Bear team up that's all you need to know. I also liked the moment between Shaw and Fusco at the end. You can have the best storyline in the world, but if the audience doesn't care about the characters and the characters don't care about each other then you have no stakes.
