#TeamSimone? The character's name is Sloane.

No worries. I only noticed because I happened to be doing a rewatch to get ready for the new episodes and looked up the review a few weeks ago. :-)

Slightly off topic, but I thought I remembered Heaven Sent being reviewed rather well on this site…

I don't know who that is and found Culverton Smith to be an effective villain.

It's my second favorite episode of the series, topped only by Two Cathedrals.

Leo. The son's name is Leo.

Parks and Rec had extended versions of episodes on Hulu…

Having never seen him play that character, it's interesting to hear people make that type of comment. I wonder how it will affect the show's reception going forward.

Laughed out loud at that. And, since I'm coming in late, loved the similar conversation in this week's Sherlock.

Rule #1: Moffat lies. (I actually do think she's dead, but I couldn't help myself.)

    No.

Time for a long-awaited new episode of Debating Doctor Who! (I know someone already said this but for some reason I was unable to reply to their comment so I'm adding my support here.)

They are my two favorite episodes (though I generally count them as one) so I actually watched them before this aired, as well as the DVD extras that show River and Eleven heading off to the singing towers together. Which makes for some odd continuity…

Respectfully disagree. This was quite good though.

I never understand this recommendation for people unfamiliar with the series. It is an excellent episode, yes, but very atypical in that The Doctor and the current companion hardly appear. Once someone has seen a few episodes, by all means show them Blink. But I would never choose it to get them started.

As I commented elsewhere, see The Crown episode "Assassins". I finished watching it, sat back and said to myself, "I cannot believe I am wiping away tears over Winston Churchill."

Brilliant. Hands down. See the episode "Assassins".

She also did it with Lin-Manuel Miranda as a Ham4Ham.

My desire to see this just plummeted.

….I truly thought I was the only one….you would not believe (except, clearly, you would and do) the response I get when I say I didn't care for Inside Out.
