I have a strong memory of listening to So (probably a blank tape copy) on a Walkman on the school bus, had to have been 10th grade, so that was actually 1989/90.

I was going to upvote … then you had to mention the Dodgers. I was a Cubs fan by birth but became a Giants fan after living in the Bay Area for about a decade after college (I left before the World Series runs).
