As I recall (not checking Wookiepedia), for Death Star I the super-laser was only meant for basically static planet sized targets. Part of the TRAP of Death Star II was that the super-laser could be modulated to be used in lower power form so it was able to be used tactically in an assault situation.

Surely Alderaan's planetary rubble wasn't left untouched in space for long. All that suddenly free raw material that wasn't vaporized left in orbit around the star ready to be transported off to the nearest Empire ship-building planet (or set up on-site in the Alderaan system) to be turned into new Star Destroyers or

I always imagined a kleptocracy at the higher levels, where regional governors stay in power by siphoning resources from the general populace while ensuring local rulers are kept fat and happy and protected and in turn, Palpatine does what Palpatine wants. Just hope he stays out of your sector.

Mint the quadrillion credit coin!

Boo on not getting to the Ballplayers category… obviously the contestants weren't sports fans. Slow play seems to be the rule lately since the ToC.

The Tin Man did not make a football move, so he does not receive the heart.

Maybe there's a Canadian Nickelodeon holiday special?

Maybe they inherited the leftover wig budget from Moneyball and felt compelled to use it?

Or McQueen's Le Mans, which has a more interesting backstory (now a documentary) than the film itself (save the gorgeous racing footage).

The new new death spot is CBS's 10:00pm/10:30pm slot on CBS football doubleheader Sundays… a new CSI: Cyber got bounced, to the disappointment of no one.

Home with my parents, they watched Property Brothers on HGTV (I think it was a marathon because it seemed like several episodes) before the football matches started.

All Kingdoms Matter!

I had to watch Code Black because I'm home with my parents. Oh my, that was Full CBS Drama stuff.

Plot question: Did Abby get an abortion in Santa Fe or did she really have a miscarriage?

It doesn't appear that it does. I think WGNAmerica being a "new" channel means that they haven't had time to build out their footprint yet. Heck, on my TWC service in my hometown it isn't even available in HD.

I had to watch this because I'm at my parents for Thanksgiving. I had to bite my tongue to resist MST3k'ing it. It was hard not to watch it because we were eating dinner during it.

I'm home at my parents with their crappy Dish Network service and that the final airing of the evening is coming in very handy. (Whew)
