What's Streaming on My Phone (At Work) This Afternoon: UEFA Champions League: Barcelona v. Manchester City.

1992 too. I don't think "graduation songs" were invented at that time, or at least the idea hadn't made it to the hinterlands of southern Wisconsin. The prom theme that year was "Stairway to Heaven"… so if we had a graduation song, it probably would have been one written prior to 1974.

I think the Whitney sets must have come in the deal when they signed Chris D'Elia.

I had a metal Dukes of Hazzard one and then a plastic Empire Strikes Back one. Then in third grade or so, lunch boxes were deemed uncool and I just had brown bagged lunches for the rest of grade school.

That's basically my plan.

I've only seen the occasional commercial, but Undateable appears to be Whitney minus Whitney, no? Both cast and sets appeared to have been reused/repurposed.

I also guessed transistors for this… stupid me for being too aware that 1947 was the year transistors were invented. But thinking further, even though most electronics were still using vacuum tubes in 1953 200,000 is probably way too low for how many transistors were being produced.

Carmen Sandiego was my first thought too, but I immediately recognized that couldn't be it. I thought of Dora with about 10 seconds to spare.

9pm in Hawaii, lucky bastards…

VanDerWoof?

Just heard Seth Davis (a Duke '92 alum and Duke college paper sportswriter at the time) on the Dan Patrick radio show disclaim any knowledge of the gay rumor around campus.

I'm only through Episode 2. Sounds like Reality has totally spoilered the rest of the series for me.

Huh, I have no memory of that. Can't find the video anywhere…

No SNL parody (yet). QED.

Congrats, your Trebek number is now 2!

DVR viewers are presumed to skip commercials, so you're just contributing to the death of "free" TV. Sorry.

Same place all the animals went (no more meat, per Carol). Which explains the lack of wild dog packs roaming Tucson.

Hey, when it is going to be [insert name of my town]'s turn for free stuff?

Maybe when David Tennant is done doing alternating BBC and Fox versions of Broadchurch/Gracepoint?

Is his sidekick going to be an Old English Sheepdog? I'm in.
