If we ever get the "Born Again" story arc from Daredevil, that psycho Captain America lookalike will destroy half of Hell's Kitchen…

Yeah, but how much do they use stuntmen (given the use of masks), how much training do the actors get ahead of time (and how much do they need, given the use of stuntmen), etc. My sense is that they use a LOT of stunt performers where they can.

    Sounds kinda like healthcare.

It definitely doesn't to me. It sounds like an English person with no particular regional accent (just generically "English," but also not RP), who's been living in the States a long time. Occasional English pronunciations slip out here or there, but weird American word shapings pop up too, and like I said, none of

To be fair, it should've been obvious to everyone. Nobody rolls three natural 20s in a row.

    Frank Stallone?

Apparently, he's from Newcastle, but he's lost his Geordie accent entirely. I think he was probably trained to lose the accent, at which point his normal speaking voice became this non-specific, non-regionalized accent-unto-itself. Couple that with several years doing an Amearrrican accent on SoA, and you've got a

Isn't that basically just the Midsomer Murders soundtrack?

The first four parts of the Henriad (Richard II, Henry IV Part 1, Henry IV Part 2, and Henry V) are terrific. I gather the adaptation of Henry VI Parts 1-3 was a bit…odd in terms of its motifs and set design (depicting a school playground, which gradually grows more desolate and decrepit over the course of the three

    It's AWESOME. Also worth watching:

As does the 1983 run of Shakespeare's plays, wherein Piggott-Smith himself played Hotspur in Henry IV, Part 1.

Side note: love the avatar. One of the best games of all time.

Probably about the same as to vote for a Presidential candidate who brags about doing the same.

    Skrillex?

"He should really coooohl eet with talk like this, given the cheelly reception the last role received. I heard Warner Bros. execs said it would be a cohld dey een Hell before they'd ever give him a role like that again."

Interesting. I actually already have some of the classic 1e adventures (e.g. T1-4), and may end up getting the others I'm interested in. Just thought this might be a quick solution if I won, and they were "backwards compatible."

How backwards-adaptable is the 5e stuff? Like, could you take it all the way back to 1e?

I lean towards 1e, myself, but I can see the merit for some people in 2e if you want a lot more die-based adjudication of things like secondary skills/non-weapon proficiencies, and less potential for arbitrariness by the DM. 1e, on the other hand, I think offers a bit more flexibility and a "Let the DM just rule on

You sure it wasn't named after Polonius?

    That presumes he can.
