@Scrawler2:disqus , I went from being grumpy that I'd scheduled three different showings with various groups of peeps over the weekend to being thrilled. Back tonight!

Cheers, @avclub-96f15daceb6669363fbf7f762ed57703:disqus, and were I anywhere near the Alamo Drafthouse, I'd buy you a pint yourself! @Scrawler2:disqus , thanks for the discussion about Scott Pilgrim—I liked it, but yeah, the direction (i.e., actor direction rather than editing choices) was less than ideal. So I think

@Scrawler2:disqus , totally agree that Cera didn't work as Scott Pilgrim, and that the relationship between him and Ramona was unbelievable and flimsy, although, personally, I thought it was great that the relationship was based on a kind of pop-cultured, stymied brinksmanship, but yeah—it was not a movie that did a

It's not a coincidence that he plays bass. In the

Scientists are predicting that reclamopunk DIY-synasetheticism is going to be even more reclamatory and punkish and DI—

Yeah, it's definitely about the reissue, rather than the bonus tracks, which is fine—All Hail West Texas is one of my favorite Mountain Goats albums, so any ability to listen to it on vinyl is fantastic. That tape-hiss.

The rest of her neighborhood owns beaches.

Nah, my copy is just the original album plus the download code for the original album plus the "nefas" tracks. So, I mean, you get the .mp3s with the vinyl, but I was expecting the bonus tracks on vinyl as well. Looks like it's a Merge thing—my copy of Archers of Loaf did the same thing.

Personally, I think they scantily resemble each other, but then again, I'm uncannily sanctimonious.
