What does one being gay or a straight woman have anything to do with this?

The Jennifer Lawrence Arms
Lapdance does not sound like Elephunk. The only song on that album remotely similar to the stuff Pharrell does is Don't Phunk With My Heart.
You think Will.I.Am and Pharrell sound the same? Are you one of those who thinks all pop music sounds the same? It's true they are both producers who used EDM influences in their music, but Will.I.Am goes from a brash, louder, David Guetta-ish sound, and Pharrell has much more of a laid back funk/old school r&b…
The fact you just compared Pharrell to Will.I.Am at whatever stage in their careers shows you don't know either of them well enough to give that opinion. They are absolutely nothing alike and never were.
Just when I was about to invite you to join my posse on Broadway…
If not earnestness that people like on Parks, than what? Can't think of anything else that show has going for it now. Do they just like to watch the characters breathe then?
Jake Shears
She'll disappear just like those lame ass 90's artists that got big hits, like Radiohead and Fiona Apple…
Kendrick has the same number of nominations as Macklemore and both were nominated for Album of The year. I don't know why people automatically assume Macklemore will beat Kendrick on Rap Album. I'm actually predicting kendrick to win, and I do pretty well predicting the Grammys usually.
My only attack on him there were the corny bad lyrics.
Bitch, I would rather listen to "Firework" a thousand times before hearing this one. It has nothing to do with being earnest. Macklemore ain't no Paul McCartney if we're talking earnest. He just plain sucks at rapping.
That bitch who spends most of her time picking fights on Twitter instead of actually making good music and releasing her damn album?
I'm sorry, but I don't accept Eminem fans attacking Macklemore. I don't even like Macklemore, but no. You can't do that when your favorite is such a homophobe. I'm not usually a "lesser of two evils" kind of guy, but between those two, hell yeah I am.
Hum, actually… http://www.vulture.com/2014…
"I'm gonna pop some douche haircut, I only got 20 dollars in my pocket…"
"I can't remember the last time a song with such a pro-gay agenda was adopted by top 40 radio."
I don't mind him not being real either, but good lord, his rapping is terrible. He raps like an insurement salesman.
I don't give Macklemore shit for being a straight white male being the only way mainstream america would listen to a hip-hop song about LGBT rights. I blame that on distribution labels, radio, and typical audience's lack of musical awareness. What I do blame Macklemore is, even if he has the best intentions, this…
There's actually something called queer rap, that I bet most people praising Macklemore are not familiar with, but still think allows to act condescending against people who are familiar with it, and think it's a bit ridiculous that unless a white straight man talks LGBT rights, nobody gives a shit.
