Because WB executives are the most ridiculous, short-sighted morons afraid of their own shadow. The notion that a single fan who watches Batman films might have their heads explode in absolute confusion if they were to turn on Smallville or Arrow and see ANOTHER version of Batman is what drives their bizzare decison

If you complain then you're a communist. COMMIE ALERT!!! COMMIE ALERT!!!

THANK YOU!!!!!

As much as I like (though sadly, not love) "Agent Carter", and as awesome as Haley Atwell is in the role, the show has proven between last season and the current one that whenever Dominic Cooper's Howard Stark is on screen, his commanding and charismatic pressence simply overwhelms the rest of the show. While I know

Really? The worst ever? Alrighty then.

Another SNL, another shitty grade by the AV Club. Tonights ep was a solid "B" by any objective measure, with the Cat Video and Aladdin setches alone earning this grade. The film bits were pretty funny, and update was great, and Driver was a surprisingly game and adept host.

Indeed. The AV Club LOVES to hate, especially when it comes to quality shows. Meanwhile, I can't remember the last time "The Middle" didn't get an "A" for absolutely no reason, or an SNL ep getting anything higher than a "C".

Unbelieveable with a "C" rating for one of the strongest episodes of the season, but that's the AV Club for you. Instead of realizing that it was always going to be necessary to bring back Eobard Thawne for the very reasons Harry lays out about the mechanics of temporal physics, the reviewer decides to pout about it

No, they don't. AV Club reviewers actually write about the show they imagined in their feebled heads as opposed to what was actually on screen. If an episode doesn't play out EXACTLY like they want it to, it gets a "C" and is deemed terrible.

Welcome to the mind of an AV Club reviewer.

Why? What is there to defend? All that God bullshit that insults religion (which in turn insults reality, seeing how all religion is just man-made garbage designed to peddle easy answers and control the masses)? Or that aliens who are algeric to water would invade a planet where 75% of the surface and biological

Why does this article keep calling J'onn J'onzz "Hank Henshaw"? It's almost as annoying as the Flash where they keep saying "Dr Wells killed Barry's mom" when in fact it was Eobard Thwane who killed her BEFORE he killed the real Wells and used his DNA to hijack his life.

Absolutely agree. Noah has been as bad as you saw, if not worse. While I myself rarely eacth the show, everytime I tune into it (usually when a major news story breaks and I want their take), I find myself bored and increasingly frustrated by not just Noah but his unfunny correspondents. They all must be replace asap

Seriously, what's to enjoy about Noah? His tepid audience support? His stilted and mannered delievery that sounds nothing like any other American that's ever been on TV? Or the fact that he just isn't very good at connecting with any wider audience?

I honeslty think your comment goes too easy on Noah. He is simply flat-out AWFUL in ways not seen for a man in his position and throughly fails to connect with any audience save for a handful of throwaway jokes. If this wasn't The Daily Show we are talking about, then I could care less, but TDS is hands-down the most

John Oliver's timing couldn't have been worse, especially when it became clear that Comedy Central was grooming him for Stewart's job. When he proved he could handle the big chair when Stewart went on break to film his movie, Comedy Central should have presented Oliver with a new contract that would have guaranteeed

Sorry to break it to you, but your fears have come true. Once or twice a month I'll tune into The Daily Show to see if it's gotten funnier since Noah took over, and sadly, it hasn't. More than anything, his delivery is just plain godawful and hampers him from connecting to any audience, either in studio or at home. He

Trevor Noah is an AWFUL, UNFUNNY host of this country's most important producer of satire at the time when we need pointed and biting political commentary more than ever. I will never forgive Jon Stewart for abandoning his audience at the time we needed him most, and still can't believe he left before the conclusion

Can someone please explain to me the "appeal" of Jon Rudnitsky? While he's barely been in any sketches in his short time on SNL, those he has been in have seen him do the same voice for both his impressions of Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper (neither sounding anything like either of the two anchors), do a stupid

Exactly. Season 4 felt in every way like a Harmon-produced season, and most people I know who watched the show but didn't know about the change in show-runners never knew the difference. I thought the puppet episode was one of the best of the entire series, and the whole Changnesia storyline was a holdover from the
