I agree. And, I didn't think it was that great. I had high expectations after last week's episode, where the business and convoluted storyline worked well. This week, that business didn't work as well, IMO. The episode wasn't the "go out with a bang" that I had hoped for. Though, I still certainly thought it

I realize it's a tepid, sanitized adaptation of the book, but I still like Less Than Zero (and honestly, if it was an original screen play, I doubt many, at least back in the 80s, would think it was that "safe" given everything involved - lots of sex, lots of drug use/addiction (including Downey's horrendous drug

Yeah, I forgot Heaven Help Us, but it is pretty good. I'm also a proponent of Class, which, as he points out, has some real darkness to a supposed comedy.

Rob Lowe has fantastic lines at St. Elmo's bar.

It would have taken her like nine hours to freeze, if she would have at all, lol. It's obviously just a set up so Billy can go in and explain to her and us the mythology of St. Elmo's Fire - which is both touching and insanely stupid. The Aquanet/blowtorch fire display is a fantastic 80s touch.

I LOVE St. Elmo's Fire. It's SO eighties and so ridiculous. The whole setup and the great/horrendous lines. I love it. There's a serious heart to it, but it's completely surrounded by unintentional camp and ridiculousness. And the fact that it's taking itself so seriously is what makes it a great bad film.

Probably delusion. Lol.

I'm thinking there might actually be a small market for this. People who want to wear BBB shoes "ironically," and those who still get some sort of status high by wearing the most expensive kicks in the room or something different, and maybe even a small contingent of true Lonzo Ball fans. Though, surely the market

Agree McDouble and a Diet Coke is a nice simple and tasty treat. And cheap. Nutrient-wise (fat, salt, carbs, chemicals form the Diet Coke) it's not great, but calories aren't bad and it can be a meal for me in a lot of circumstances. I once asked what's the difference between the McDouble and the double cheeseburger

The paid for it.

Lol. It's all optics. For some reason, Panera has given a lot of people the image of something "purer" and less processed than the traditional drive-thru burger joint fast food places. Yes, it's mostly BS.

It's all such bullshit. They quickly trotted out the "feared for my safety," suspect was "aggressive" line of justification. I'm not an expert, but I'd argue that this wasn't a situation involving enough fear or enough aggression to justify killing the kid. Fear and confronting aggression are part of any police

It was "dark," but I still felt it was a comedy first and never stopped laughing, or cringing in a good way. I guess that's the point - comedy is a great medium for dark, disturbing themes.

Yeah, I'm dumbfounded that Ja Rule could be a big enough attraction for an event like this; or Blink 182 for that matter. Maybe 12-15 years ago.

Okay, that was a helluva convoluted story line, but I loved it. I thought Chuck had something up his sleeve to avoid a huge loss, but had no idea he was masterminding this sort of play. I should have known when he was so calm when his wife stopped by his office and tipped him.

It was probably unnecessary, but I don't think it mattered. The baby as in one episode and its sole purpose was to illustrate the difficulty for new mothers in raising/bonding with a baby. There was no storyline about the fact that it was biracial and there weren't any scenes in the episode where someone reacted

I agree with wanting more episodes, but the upside is that the seasons are just so tight and direct. They have major impact.

Someone was just talking about her the other day in my office. Yeah, she was HUGE, and has all but disappeared (hasn't she?). I sort of appreciate that she's not trying to desperately extend her fame. She had a great run.

But didn't the Baby Boomers hear that they were the best thing ever from commentators, historians, cultural critics, journalists, etc. after they had grown up and people starting looking back and examining their generation as a whole, as where millennials heard they were individually the best thing ever from their

She's great. "You know who else is in emotional pain? Fucking everyone. For their whole lives." Fantastic line.
