Yeah, sure, whatever you say man… I'm sure it was my favorite film of 2012 because it was so boring.

Nothing takes you out of your good film euphoria ore than some loudmouth yelling their asinine opinions before they can even leave their seat. The same thing happened when I was watching Zero Dark Thirty. Some jackass in front of me telling his idiot friend that he thought it was "so boring."
That's kind of weird. Women with curly hair are sexy as hell. Although, maybe it is because I have pin straight hair myself that makes me more attracted to women with curly hair.
No love for Dead Man or Fear and Loathing? (Especially Dead Man…)
Unrelated, but I was once at a Yeah Yeah Yeahs show at a festival and Tool was to come on after them. About halfway through YYYs set, the audience all of a sudden made this insane push towards the stage spurred by Tool fans all showing up at the same time. I feared for my life and my ex-girlfriend who was with me…
I think it is just Bulgarian folk music recorded by him at a festival, meaning he probably had no involvement with the actual playing of the music.
The world owes me a livin'.
Yeah, Sympathy for the Devil is pretty terrible. There's another film he started shooting in the U.S. but later abandoned called One P.M. (D.A. Pennebaker finished it and released it) that is similarly terrible and shows Rip Torn practicing repeating lines from some insane speech for like 15 minutes and looking…
I think my favorite Godard will always be my first, which was Breathless, although I loved a lot of the other films from his New Wave era as well. My least favorite of this era would probably be Made in U.S.A. It just seemed dull, when placed next to these other early films of his, which are full of energy.
Tout va bien is definitely the standout film from that political period in Godard's work (1968-72), but he actually wasn't very present for the filming very much because he was in a near-fatal motorcycle wreck right before they were set to start filming. I believe he was heavily involved with the planning, but…
The worst is his TV mini-series he did in the mid 70s, Six fois deux… It might be the most excruciating thing I ever sat through. Its also twelve hours long. I can't even believe a television station ever actually broadcasted it.
When I was a kid in the early 90s, I don't remember a single person I knew that had a brand new looking car. Now, every house in my parent's neighborhood has a car that is less than three years old parked in the driveway. The only guy on the block that has an older car keeps it looking pristine.
I would really love to play this if it came to consoles. It looks so fun.
I agree but I also think they should set the thing in the early 60s (like X-Men: First Class) and also play up the celebrity aspect and the connections to the Kennedys where Sue is glamorous like Jackie. The film should look like an episode of Mad Men, and the series could jump a few years for each sequel.
Yeah, why would that ever seem like the kind of thing the Joker would do? Isn't he usually portrayed as having zero interest in sex?
I don't disagree with your point but I just don't think it is a very good film and thought there were other, more worthy choices (in my opinion.) Although, there is one aspect of the film that I enjoy: that so much of the blatant homoeroticism goes over the heads of many of its fans. It's like a Tom of Finland comic…
I just watched it again and the editor of this video used 300 for 2006, because they used There Will Be Blood for 2007. They should have used a shot of the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth instead (although my favorite film from that year was The Lives of Others.)
The dancing scene?
Also, nobody gives a shit about 300. For iconic for that year they should have went with a shot of the Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth (although my personal favorite that year was The Lives of Others.)
Yeah, I really only want the zelda picross…
