Weekend at Barney's is my favorite joke in the history of the show. I'm not exaggerating.

I pictured John Goodman as Big Jim when I read the book, but Dean Norris will be awesome in the role.

They were always fun, harmless pop music. I've seen them a couple times and when they were out their peak, doing arenas, they put on a great shows. Nothing I've ever rushed out to buy, but somehow I always managed to see them for free and always dug 'em. Good news.

Good God, when I heard about this earlier, I thought it was just some random e-blast alerting people that the theater was reopening and it just so happened to go to some families of the victims. I didn't know they specifically invited them for a night of "remembrance," that's downright demented.

Masuka's never really been an important character though, he's just there for the occasional quip and rarely has stories of his own. Quinn, at one point, was probably the third most important character on the show behind Dex and Deb, now he's just there with a story that has NOTHING to do with the rest of the show.

It's a shame Metallica still takes the most heat for the Napster debacle, despite the fact they came right out and said they handled it poorly. Meanwhile, hundreds of major artists are still supporting harsher penalties for individual filesharing and no one's even paying attention anymore.
