I watched Jaws with my kid. He loved it. Christ, that movie is amazing.

I think the suggestion here is that maybe it wasn't.

But James is so cool!

Beautifully summarized.

I've deleted my Disqus accounts twice without saving any of my timeless thoughts. I shudder to think how much material I generated, and how much of it was inane bullshit. My first Disqus account had something like 10,000 comments.

I would be shocked if Valerian did well. It has "trainwreck" written all over it. I look forward to watching it on Netflix in six months, though.

Yeah, but Andy has mastered the art of being a husband, as well as low stakes, low level manipulation to get what he wants. Or maybe it was Lucy that manipulated him.

Yeah, I remember when they had to put on a show to save it from the bulldozers. I think it involved break dancing.

Ah, okay.

I know people hate on Chrysta Bell, but does anyone else kind of like Agent Preston? Because I enjoy the scenes she's in. Her performance is weird, but she lends something unique, and I find her awkwardness mixed with her instinct and high level of competence compelling.

She had him blocked, and then unblocked him. Hard to say.

Also, this episode more than any other, I was shocked when the credits started. It felt like I was only a half hour in!

Bobby is a character that benefits from increased familiarity with the series. On the first watch, he just seems like a jock asshole, but the more you learn about him, the stronger and more compelling a character he becomes (which is obvious, I suppose). When he has his breakdown with Jacoby in the first season

And so two soul mates have found each other after a lifetime of searching.

I thought Harry Styles was the tall guy from the Drew Carey show.

The animation on these is consistent, and terrible. I would be thrilled by this announcement, but it will probably look cheap, and lose the entire aesthetic appeal of the comic, as is the case with most of these WB animation projects.

It's the library that Batman uses! Because it's a Night Library!

I've been doing a slow re-watch of the original series in between the new episodes, as well as re-watching (and in some cases, first time watching) Lynch's films. I am almost convinced this makes the wait bearable.

I love that movie.

David Lynch, if he attends, will do so under the condition that he lead in a mass transcendental meditation seminar. Also, the hall will allow smoking.
