Gross!

So he DOES pay taxes on something after all!

Because of corporate thinking, and the boss thinks the crazy scientist is sexy. Honestly, Kane being made into Robocop 2 is one of the funniest satirical bits in the film. The complete lack of oversight and accountability of OCP, because of unchecked power being in the hands of a private corporation, is why you have

I'm inclined to agree.

He was immaculately conceived and surgically removed from Gary Busey is what you're saying?

I hope someone got skinned alive and placed in a trophy case for that blunder!

I have a weird, perhaps misplaced, affection for Predator 2 and Robocop 2. Both are off-putting, extremely violent, and much maligned sequels to beloved genre films, and they appeal to a dark corner of my soul. I like them for all the wrong reasons, but I suspect that they are also the right reasons.

The crazy thing is that I still kind of like that movie.

So Cars 3 and Transformers: Planet of the Earth are dramatically under-performing when compared to their previous entries, and Wonder Woman is kicking the arse of BvS and Suicide Squad. This isn't a bad moment for capitalism as a metric for determining the worth of Hollywood output. I'm choosing to savour this for

This is a disaster on the same level as making Homer an astronaut.

The first movie? You know what? You're probably fine to just watch it as a standalone. It's the best of the whole series by far, and is unlike any of the other films.

I had a horrible thought: What if BOB's blob seeks out and inhabits Dougie (sorry, the original Cooper that everyone thinks is Dougie)?

I don't watch Twin Peaks with my dog because I'm sure he'd bark at the TV constantly.

Koba with a machine gun was when shit got real, man.

The Avocado is a crazy, crazy place.

The origin stuff is SO GOOD. It amazes me that Nolan's film is the most fleshed out depiction of Batman becoming Batman in any medium. He was wise to find a story that was never adequately told, even in the comics, and make that the centerpiece of the movie.

My wife wasn't into it either (the Nine Inch Nails music video was particularly galling to her), but she chose to go to bed and asked me to recap today. Needless to say, it sounded very weird when I described the events of the episode.

"Open, dammit, OPEN!"

Garmonbozia?

When the Giant was watching the film, I half expected the cheeky lady in the radiator to shuffle onto the stage.
