Yes, I thought that this was supposed to still be the 7th season and so it would pick up around where the first seven episodes left off.

I was hoping for it to end around the Mets winning the World Series. To me, jumping ahead means this really is Season 8.

Fey would be great, but I still feel the need to repeat my choice for Stewart's replacementevery time this comes up: Aasif Mandvi. He always seemed better at being in character without winking at the audience than other correspondents. Plus, he can get up to Jon Stewart-levels of frustration and outrage when need be.

You are exactly right.

Ugh, just when Marnie was sticking up for herself and communicating clearly like a real-live adult, Desi proposes and it all goes out the window.

Perhaps Loreen should have pegged him as well.

My problemetics with Boyhood:

He was more than a nice and super-sensitive guy in this movie. He was also strong and confident, willing to stick up to anyone for his family, yet never a jerk about it. Just curious, did you see Foxcatcher?

Mark Ruffalo as Dave Schultz in Foxcatcher. Seemed to have all the good masculine traits and none of the bad.

Baby bow ding ball

Mike Watt also played bass on some songs on the album after Since U Been Gone's Breakaway

I liked Chairs this week. I think giving it an extra few minutes this week made it feel more like a real sitcom and I thought it also had Kroll's best Larry Bird lines/vocal tics yet.

"I love the detail of the hashtag “#LookLikeDis” in the corner of the screen duringLook Like Dis. Kroll Show just nails such specific components of television programming."
Also, the "comments disabled" graphic on the Hoffman twins videos is perfect.

Yeah, I thought that was the XXX parody

Funny how that worked out. Going back I can see that she didn't want to bring it up but Adam was insistent about going for a run and wanting to see her "bounce." Maybe she just wanted to get him off her back about it as well and being casual was nicer than "I CAN'T GO ON A RUN BECAUSE I HAD A GODDAM ABORTION

"That guy from Good Dick!"

"It's my mode of transportation"

Yeah, later I think she says they've only been together for 7 weeks anyways.

It was just a joke, because that would be crazy, but it wasn't based on her refusal to discuss it, rather the manner in which she mentioned it.

Based on how casual she was about abortions past and present, you'd think they were Mimi-Rose's first and only line of birth control.
