I would not have minded hearing more about how Robin Williams just _gave_ Maura Tierney a foot massage. How does that even work? Foot massages, in my experience, are often silently asked for.

I watched a bunch of ER. Even playing a haggard nurse run down by the daily grind of her job….I was still into it.
Ah yes. How could I have forgotten? I went to elementary school in the 90s. I am fully aware of the Martin Lawrence show. Though he's more the exception than the rule in terms of "Martins you see on TV". Like, Frasier's dad was a Martin but he's not the first guy people think of.
My first name is Martin. There are only ever 1 or 2 kinds of Martin in pop culture: wiener kids/nerds like Martin Prince, or British dudes. I like to think I'm not a wiener kid and I'm not a Brit.
Well I mean, why are they showing fully splayed out vulvas on VH1 in the first place? Not that she has any merit, but I mean, it's basic cable and their showing at LEAST a slightly higher tier of cable channels.
So were Guarascio and Port in charge of this season too, or what?
I think I stopped watching after that season, or whatever season it was with all the sideways flashes, but hearing what I've heard of the last season and where that show ended up going, I was under the impression that was Jacob's point: to infuriate Ben to the point where Ben would kill him in a rage. Of course, I…
Gillian Jacobs back in New York City?
Yeah, I got the impression they were a hippy dippy lesbian couple.
I actually think "Jamie" is one of the weaker episodes. In terms of the peripheral cast of characters this show has, the two hippie chicks who show up again in a different episode are way less interesting than the couple who put up their place on AirBnB, or even the asexual magician or two snarky assholes (the gay…
Actually, what happened with F(e/u)rguson? How did everyone go on the cruise when someone needs to watch the cat?
Yeah, I remember reading about 21 when that movie came out and how the true people were kinda confused because it's essentially a movie about Asians who are good at math, which shouldn't be a concept American audiences would struggle to understand. Except for all the cool white people and sex that was being had in…
My fear exactly. And even then, it's a show with an Asian cast because it inherently HAS to be a show about an Asian cast. It's based off the memoir of an Asian mogul, like some sort of Asian Wonder Years or Asian Goldbergs. I'd hope they wouldn't try to "white wash" such a story, if such a thing was even possible.
Fresh Off The Boat sounds awful, but it could be an Asian "Everybody Hates Chris" if they do it right.
Wow, Bad Teacher got canned already? Poor Hilary Winston.
Considering McHale's role in getting Harmon back for Season 5, it makes sense that his tweet is the least accepting of all of them. Everyone else is saying their goodbyes and thank yous, and McHale just tweets the truth: this kinda sucks.
So I just got back from Captain America 2, and I've never watched an episode of Agents of SHIELD. Why does Oliver Sava seem to think this show won't get picked up for a 2nd season, and probably more? Haven't we learned that Joss Whedon, and by extension his family and anything he has his name on, is now…
I watched my first full episode of this show tonight. I can see why people really like it, but it still felt like everyone was speaking like they were on a TV show. Everything was a cliffhanger sentence, or like a pithy rejoinder. I mean, Amy Acker is on it and so I will probably keep watching, but yeah….it's alright.
Who doesn't miss that dude's pedophile mustache?
Didn't he take that job like, twice? I recall a gag where he took the job, quit, took it again, and then quit again. With a Jean Ralphio hiring and firing in between.
