Haha noooo, I didn't. I wasn't interested in it in the slightest. I read leaked excerpts from it before the movie came out, because I was anxious about the movie. I usually avoid movie novelizations as a rule (with the exception of Star Wars). I'm just kind of a spoiler hound for movies I'm interested in, especially

That's gamers missing one comparison for another less apt one. He's always been much more like Moses, in that he's the orc who frees his people from slavery and leads them to a new homeland. He was even hidden away so that he wouldn't be killed as a child.

Apparently the movie was cut to hell by Universal. You can see it just by looking at the novelization, the set reports, and even the early Comic-Con footage. The assembly cut was 2 hours and 45 minutes long, whereas the final cut was around 2 hours and 3 minutes. Unfortunately, we can't get a director's cut, because

The demon that possessed Medivh to open the portal is the same demon that told Gul'dan about Azeroth, and that demon's followers are the ones that taught Gul'dan how to use the Fel, and corrupted the orcs. The demon behind all this ends up being pretty much the overarching villain of the series. So cutting that would

This was debunked yesterday. The junior novelization only gets to the Washington, D.C. part, and doesn't give her last name at all. I got perturbed that not a single site running this bothered to check the source. AV Club, I thought you were better!

I was talking more about Spider-Man, with the Daily Bugle queue. Also, the Marvel area is pretty dated, but the theming at the park overall is excellent.

That's true. My enjoyment is that area (aside from the rides) is probably more nostalgia than anything.

Forbidden Journey wasn't originally 3D when it launched, and I don't think it was the last time I went either. They must have converted it.

Universal has some great dark rides too, though. Spider-Man, the Harry Potter rides, they have a great dark coaster with The Mummy. None of those are "sit and put on 3D glasses, either. They all incorporate movement, physical environments, etc..
And Universal's areas and attention to detail are exquisite and on par

No theme park can do rides off of the same properties they're currently using east of the Mississippi. There's also a stricter rule saying absolutely no Marvel attractions within 60 miles of the park.

That's an awful review of Marvel Superhero Landing, which also has Doctor Doom's Fear Fall, The Incredible Hulk Coaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man which are all first rate. That area is also packed with fun Easter eggs and has a great Marvel comic book store.

AAAH! TONY STARK IS ON FIRE!!

I know. I think you misunderstand. At the end of the article, they say this gives him the opportunity to grow into BOTH franchises, and play both characters for decades.

He could conceivably do EITHER movie for decades, but playing adult Nathan Drake and Peter Parker at the same time would be kind of difficult. I mean, from a physical standpoint. They're just such different types.

This happened on Game of Thrones too, which was pretty disappointing. He came back from the dead, and Tormund responded with a dick joke. And then he went trying to recruit people to his cause, and no one questioned it. He doesn't even seem to have changed much, at all, which contradicts everything we'd previously

This is part of why I like Ultimate Venom, where the suit is designed by his parents and Brock is a childhood friend. I also think, for everything it got wrong, the Raimi movie was on the right track with having the symbiote amplify emotions, feeding off anger or a need for revenge.

They confirmed that that character (I forget the actress' name) is an original character, not someone from the comics. Sorry.

From what I heard, it happened, they weren't filming, they all had a good sense of humor in real life, so they restaged it.

Ophelia is actually Madame Hydra's name in the comics. Ophelia Sarkissian. The big literary reference in this episode is to
Ogygia. That was the island where Calypso kept Odysseus for seven years in The Odyssey. She enchants him, they sleep together, she feeds him and treats him well, but he wants to go home and the

Cal's actually been referenced twice this season (and yeah, in the season 3 finale as well). The stff that gives Mace his powers is based around Cal's formula. And Coulson had a newsclipping of him in this very episode.
