That stealth sequence was awful. Who's idea was that? "Yeah, sure, we've got this story-based game that basically never asks you to do anything involving timing, just sort of interact with the environment. The controls are really basic, too. Now do stealth."

The BG2 opening dungeon also requires a lot of backtracking, a flaw that they mostly avoided in other dungeons in the game. Nowadays I use the cheat console and CTRL-R (instant teleport move) when I even bother to play it at all.

The sewer level in Xenogears. I love Xenogears, but that game had such a high encounter rate that it seemed like you were getting into a random battle every 3-4 steps or so. Combine that with annoying sewery poison-type monsters and it was a really arduous slog.

Siege of Dragonspear. I'm enjoying it so far. I'm ambivalent on the writing, but it's nice to have new magic items to discover, since I've pretty much got all the items in the existing games memorized at this point.

This episode was better than I expected. I don't exactly like Ariana Grande, but after that Jennifer Lawrence Impression, I'm willing to listen.

When I was in middle school a friend and I spent the afternoon beating the absolutely terrible Army Men: Air Attack. It remains one of my fonder memories, despite that game being a tedious snooze.

I think the kid listens to Foghat when he puts on his headphones. I can't remember when Cheap Trick figures into Dazed and Confused, to be honest.

Needs more Over the Edge (speaking of Cheap Trick).

Van Der Werff wrote insufferably long and faux-poetic think pieces about a lot of shows, but his Girls material was the worst.

Gomez and Vardalos are terrible, Nicole is annoying, this show is a B-.
