The finale is shot and wrapped months after the main season, usually. They send the finalists home to think about their last couple episodes before re-convening in a new location. So, probably they'll reincorporate Kristen and Kuniko after they reconvene in Florence or wherever.
I dunno. The product placement was egregious this episode, but the cooking was good, and we're rid of obvious cancers like Josie and John, so at least very little time is wasted on bullshit arguing. I thought this was one of the better episodes on a weak season so far.
Is the whole show going to be one spoon? If so, how do you ever cook anything on the bone? There are a lot of techniques you can't do for a one-bite dish. That doesn't bode well.
