Minesweeper is so good at one point I dreamed minesweeper, tetris-style. I never did manage to get better than the 100 second mark though *weeps*

Final Fantasy XII is my favourite Final Fantasy game, ever. EVER. If they ever do an HD remake, I'd probably buy a PS4 just to play it.

I mean, it's not even that I don't have friends who watched the show. It's just that I don't have friends who fangirl this show…

I'm going to be watching this movie alone in theatres some time very soon. I feel a mixture of pride and embarrassment about that.

Oh god….CityTV in Canada? And it wasn't even that late! Like, 9/10 at the most. Insane.

Maybe it'll be a Futurama type thing…

I think Genndy's deal with Sony was that he would direct these sort of films and be allowed to do his own thing if things go well?

Oh I completely agree. I wish the show was marketed toward an older audience, so that aspect was less important to the show staying alive.

Sometimes I have to stop because of the sheer ridiculousness of the mysteries, but the books themselves are still pretty good!

Hopefully with maple syrup from the sacred tree of souls in Winnepeg.

I just want Sym Bionic Titan to come back…

The Koog approves.

I'm really digging it so far. My Kobo informs me that I'm only 15% in, so I didn't feel like I could discuss it yet with any sense of authority.

That's fair. And what you're saying makes sense, but after Sword I guess I was expecting more of a reimagining of Arthur as opposed to a retelling.

The first book was written for a young audience, right? And the rest for adults?

Yes I read that version as well!
And then I watched the episode right after, not expecting any kind of connection at all.
Beautiful stuff.

What about 20th Century Ghosts? Joe Hill has the same knack for the short story as his dad.

Somehow in the long wait for this book my interest waned? I am still stuck in the beginning. Is it as good as the earlier ones?

I wasn't as big a fan of Redshirts as I think I was supposed to be, but I loved Old Man's War. The other books were good too, but never as funny as the first one.

It's great to read Red Dragon and then watch Hannibal and hear the writing reappropriated. They did a great job with it!
