I've still got Emotionally Weird on the queue! I think I just needed a break from the sad lives of their characters for a bit.

Haha my bad entirely.
I'll have to check it out then!
I read the book as a kid, saw The Simpsons episode around the same time, watched the movie, then reread the book. This was all in the span of maybe five to seven years ago.
How is The Invention of Murder? From the title alone, I'm intrigued.
The best part about reading those books after watching Hannibal is noticing all the easter eggs and callbacks to specific lines from the books that they placed in the show.
I completely agree. The premise of it was very intriguing, and some of the early worldbuilding had promise, but the rest of it was just garbage.
Agreed. I had read some books about aspects of it, but nothing brought home the cold and weariness of it quite the way she did.
Loved Life After Life! I haven't heard of Replay yet, but maybe I should check it out!
Invisible Cities is great! Calvino is able to evoke such clear emotions and images from the shortest of descriptions and vignettes. It's really amazing.
I had finished some Kate Atkinson books, Night at the Museum, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and the first Jackson Brodie, that @Scrawler2:disqus recommended to me, which I found disappointing.
They did have an unstable relationship, and Nick would be terrible at explaining the situation, but that doesn't really explain why Jess would let things get so out of control. Also, the one moment that Caroline was allowed to get serious, she said some serious things about their past relationship, that wasn't "crazy"…
No, I don't feel bad for Berkeley, but letting him blather on and on was a waste of time.
I love this show, but I think this was one of the weakest episodes. I spent the entire time feeling bad for Caroline. Nick allowed her to think that he had cheated on her instead of just talking to her like a human being, and all Jess can think of to advise Nick to do is to talk to her ex-boyfriend? It doesn't make…
I would happily throw down money to watch a feature length version of that commercial in theaters, but I would not pay to have that man represent me in a court of law.
So cute!
A. Knife.
Today is the day that I learned Chicken McNuggets come in different shapes.
Looks like the New Girl link is broken.
NOOOOOoooo :'(
