The mystery, like most of Conan Doyle's mysteries, to be honest, was kind of dumb.

I thought Molly's day with Sherlock was perfectly heartbreaking, as was her flinty determination to get over him. It was a pity it was undercut, as always, by her punchline of a love life.

Well I thought the season was great overall. I liked that they humanized Sherlock, and I thought it was equal parts funny and touching.

This is the first season where the second episode wasn't noticeably weaker! They've broken the streak!

No, it's not the spoilers that ruin it for me. Like I said, I have never minded spoilers. It's knowing that Todd et al liked it for this reason, or hated it for that reason, that's what ruins it for me.

I loved Sherlock's day with Molly, and could watch their final exchange in that stairwell forever.

I am so glad we can finally talk about this. I found that Christmas special to be so disappointing it made me incredibly apprehensive about the start of this series, but I really, really enjoyed the opener.
