Wayne's World 2 shoutout—always a classic.

Wow, that's more genres than a…a uh….

Lamorne Morris is criminally underused. Even in that episode that was called "Winston's Birthday" featured him as a side character.

YES! HORNBERGER!

Right to Remain Silent: Grizzled ex-cop Jason Right is brought back to the FBI to find the killer of his wife and unborn son despite his terrible accident…he's been made mute.

I'm still waiting for them to make a movie as good as the trailer for Cloud Atlas.

Oh no! I saw both Die Hard and Superman, and in theatres too no less. Maybe I'm the worst film of 2013 :(

Oh thank God. I wasn't ready for it to be over yet.

I love New Girls and will fight anyone to the death with Todd who doesn't agree, but I think the biggest problem they're having is the inability to juggle both Coach and Winston. I think Coach and Winston are great, and they're very different characters, but it's starting to feel like the writers don't feel the same

This season has been so long in the coming and so shrouded in controversy that I've forgotten to look forward to it. But I'm excited again!!

SPOILERS

This is going to be a nail-bitingly thrilling three weeks.

With live TV, there's the thrill that something could go wrong! That's why I'll be tuning in—to see how much of "Greased Lightning" they can bleep on live television.

Reacher? I barely knew 'er!

SPOILERS

I'm still trying to figure out how "Free Bird" was performed.

Also, it didn't get nearly enough love anywhere, considering that it's a fairly simple book about a girl with amnesia and superpowers and a hidden secret organization, but Daniel O'Malley's The Rook was just fantastic, in my opinion. The most pleasant surprise of my literature year.

Agreed. Far better than The Machine of Death because of the wild shifts in tone, in my opinion. A collection about such a strange topic really needs to show its imagination, and not only was I (pleasantly) surprised by the directions that the stories took, but also by the high calibre of just about all of them.

Much as I loved George Saunders, the one short story collection I couldn't stop thinking about was This is How You Die. Just a crazy good anthology.
