1. We don't know how the elevators work, but if monsters and magic reside in this universe, the scientists who wield them can conceivably construct a mystically guarded elevator.

the first 30 minutes has Natasha's introduction scene. both that and Cap's are set up perfectly.

Any screenplay wins will have less to do with the story itself (which was excellent) and more about the innovation of the methodology and its success.

He's not cold, just disconnected. He feels as though he is a product of others, always being acted upon, and his journey is about learning to stand on his own two feet. He has a unique way of seeing the world, and doesn't quite connect with most others, but grows into it.
