We did not see him dead hence he is not dead. TV/ cinema rule number one. I guess he still has some part to play.
Melisandre came back to Castle Black just in time to resurrect Jon. All the interviews are obvious misdirection.

Sansa and Theon are not dead, they escaped.
Stannis is not dead, that's obvious.
Jon will be resurrected by Melisandre, that's also obvious.
