I did not like this episode. It was a B- or C+ for me.

I really really don't like Harper and the blond girl would be a much much better addition to the team than her.
Exactly but I wish it was a bigger part of the episode.
Average episode that could have been much better. I loved we never knew if Morris was the killer or not and it's a pity this theme was not more central in the episode.
Never understood the hatred for the first half of season 3. Yes we had to wait 3 months between episode 6 and 7, and yes episode 9 is the worst of the series, but the first batch was good (it could have been shortened by one episode) and the Eko episode was great, the Juliet episode (7) was also very good, and of…
Very good episode. If Helix is starting to be good, we can't trust anything in this world anymore. And yes, Michael is really a very well written character and the actor is fantastic.
"Secular" in Israel is probably on average more religious than a secular in the US. Israelis are conservative in comparison to Americans but on a few issues that are less important in Israel like abortion or fire arms.
The religious control over marriage and divorce has nothing to do with the religious parties - it was…
The rabbis have no authority to deny any divorce. The divorce is given by the man. When he refuses for no reasonable reasons, the rabbinic tribunal can send him to jail or fine him until he accepts.
The fact of being religious or non-religious has no incidence here.
Small religious parties have so much leverage that they are not in the current government.
They have the power that the people gave them. Most Jews in Israel are religious or traditionalists, not secular.
"With 90% of the population not-Orthodox"
Very few Israelis get married in Cyprus or places like that, maybe 2% of Israeli Jews. Most of the time there is no problem, first because the majority do not divorce (even in the USA), then because usually the get is accorded without any problems. Of course that does not solve the issue for the minority who does have…
No, all studies agree that it is in the 2% region. Sorry.
Oh yes, how dare they make show about the majority of the population and not about the 2% gay minority ! Incredible.
I watched season 1 and it was an horrible but funny mess. I must admit this episode hooked me. Yes it was a shameless Lost rip-off, but you know what ? Nobody did it until now. I want a new Lost, and even if I know that Helix will suck, that's still better than nothing.
I liked it but there were a few holes:
- The copy of oneself makes no sense at all, at least the way it is used in the episode. Why do I need a 100% fully conscient and aware copy of myself to run my home. The copy should at least be tampered with and made compliant. The copy, if it is as perfect as it is here, would…
I think this was the best episode of the trilogy, loved it.
I expected an horrible movie, it was the best of the three. Still not a masterpiece and not on the level of the LOTR movies but a real improvement on all levels over the first two movies. Now someone take all these three movies and make a nice fan-edit of them.
Are you me ? You wrote almost word for word what I intended to (I also bought the extended edition of the first Hobbit movie in a silly hope that maybe it would be better, but no, it was not).
Josephus was answering Manetho and he is the one who identified Hyksos and Hebrews, not Manetho who placed the exodus 200 years later, by the way very close the what the traditional biblical chronology says. And saying that there is nothing that parallels the Hyksos and the Hebrews is very funny (the Hyksos were from…
Unique ? Well I was recently at a conference on a close subject with many Israeli archeologists and most of them spoke under the assumption that there was an Exodus. I can also quote Prof Israel Knohl, Chair of Biblical Studies at the Hebrew University, who wrote a book on the issue and even think there were two…
