Meh. Honestly if I were a juror, I don't think I would be swayed by that. As a matter of fact, I thought the banter between Weiss and Katz was the weakest part of the prosecution's efforts. The fact that Dr. Katz is famous, has been connected to high profile cases, and at one time held the other doctor in high esteem

Plus Robert Kardashian took OJ's clothes and destroyed them. Which, of course, he and his family denied/deny.

I agree. The kiss really struck me as a sour note, but the camera immediately showed that they're being filmed so we know that this will probably bring trouble somehow. I hope it furthers the story. The only reason I can think of them trying to make Naz and Chandra romantically involved as part of the storyline is

But who said he forgot it or that he wasn't changed by it? Maybe he didn't mention it because he's ashamed. I know someone who threw hot soup in their sister's face during an argument once when she was 13 without ever even realizing what she had in her hand. She could've really seriously injured her and recounts it as

"Selling the Adderall also doesn't bespeak of violence on the part of Naz (though it does show him being willing to break the law)."

I agree, it's just not possible at this point. There's also the fact that our society judges people forever, even if they've been cleared and exonerated. Look at Naz's family getting turned on in their community because everyone just assumes Naz did it. Our society is so guilty of not respecting the way the criminal

I definitely think Naz is lost. Even if he does actually get out, there's no one left in Freddy's crew. I personally believe that Freddy is going to be the reason that Naz ends up behind bars for life—he's going to find a way to pin the murder on him or something. I don't think he's going to be willing to end up alone

"Seeing Nas continue slipping lower and lower into the shit is just killing me and there are times it fucks with my enjoyment of the show."

Well, seeing as how the show is now angling at the step father who marries older women who have money and tried to fight Andrea for half of everything before she was murdered out of nowhere which would make him the guy who inherits everything now, I have to respectfully disagree that this is the only interesting

It isn't normal, but it also doesn't make him a murderer. This show has been smart because they've played with the audience's emotions. Just because the guy has problems doesn't make him a murderer. In my opinion, he's acting the way he is in jail for three reasons: 1) he's doing what he has to do to try to survive,

Exactly. No one is putting in any extra work because both sides have been ready to just accept the evidence against him and call it a day.

I've said this in a few comments already, but I read an article that stated that the point of this show was about taking a closer look at the flaws in our justice system. With that being said, I think with every mistake these lawyers or cops make, that is the point we're supposed to come away with—that one man's life

I think he hired Dwayne Read to do it. I don't see stepdad as being a murderer himself. I don't think they're really trying to shock and amaze us about who committed the murder, I think the story is about how destroyed Naz's life is going to be as a result of being thrown into the system. I think we're supposed to

Loving this show more with every episode.

I really don't think Naz did it. I think the show is fucking with us to try to show us that the justice system is flawed, how badly it affects people, and how easy it is to end up serving a potential life sentence when you didn't even do anything wrong. I think this is why we're now seeing him flip out in a fit of

Seriously. He is going through so much shit. Plus there is the fact that he thought this guy was being a friend to him until he threw scalding water mixed with baby oil at him. He has plenty of sources of anger.

My friend and I both said during the first episode that we thought the guy we now know as Duane Reade was the guy who killed her. I do have suspicions that they're going to go for the "it was right under your nose the whole time" angle and make Naz the killer, but I'm skeptical. This show isn't trying to be a murder
