From the pilot, I never read their interactions as sisterly, more like exes, even the actresses have said this themselves. That ambiguity has stuck with me since then!

"I'll go get the alien. You get the girl"
Kara's "come at me bro like Neo" gesture when fighting that alien though!
What elevated the Alex storyline even further was having some stellar sister moments with Kara. Both actresses knocked it out of the park, wow. They truly are the heart of the show, they ground it in such a way that without it, it would be sorely lacking.
I really appreciate the direction they hinted at in this episode, about having these super abilities and whether or not you have an obligation to put those to good use as Kara believes or just live out your life as you choose (Mon-El). They've set up an interesting dichotomy with that and while I think it may end up…
Maeve's monologues, uttering menacing things to whipped humans, completely destroying them with her words, have become a weekly thing. I'm very much ok with this.
It's ok! And yeah I agree about Laurel. I think gauging the audience reaction to things can sometimes be helpful and shouldn't be ignored totally. But how much it informs or should inform their creative direction, I can't say. I've seen strong arguments by writers/creators who are in favour of and clearly use fan…
I'm beyond excited about this development!
"So you want everyone to see you as a douche?"
"You're not being supportive"
"I'm repeating what she said"
Rebecca saying au revoir to the men in her life to focus on herself is the healthiest decision she has made for herself in such.a.long time. I'm surprised the show arrived at this turning point so soon in the season, and to give us more Heather?! I'm beyond excited.
99% of the reason why I am hooked on The 100 is because of Clarke!
When the cops arrived and they revealed both Lee and Audrey were still kicking, it ricocheted up the tension for me, wondering which one of them would survive - they resolved that pretty quickly and unexpectedly! I was a little disappointed Audrey wasn't the one to survive, what a comedic goldmine.
I can't stand him but his genuinely concerned and surprised "what?" when Laurel said Frank doesn't have a beard anymore was on point.
You're right, ironically, and I can't believe they actually managed it, they did a major turnaround with Laurel, so much so, that I was actively liking her over Oliver or many other characters towards the end. Giving her some space from Oliver and giving her her own storyline helped with that I think. So that's…
This was just an all around solidly entertaining episode, I wasn't bored for a second, so well done AHS. Those teen deaths though, that was indeed pretty visceral because I don't think I've watched anything in quite some time where someone's death is depicted in such first person perspective because of their cameras -…
I agree, generally speaking! But I'm specifically referring to onscreen chemistry (obviously subjective), not necessarily fan reactions. In the example I mentioned, the show hadn't aired to gain any traction with fans before they chose to go down the Clarke/Lexa route, it was just based on what they saw between the…
I thought that was hilarious, hasn't she heard of a phone?! Because *plot* and *scenes*. It's slightly better in hindsight, knowing Kara dropped by Lena's office unannounced just last episode for a favour, so it kind of balances it out.
Preferably Lena! One of the great things I enjoyed about The 100, is that they went somewhere with Clarke and Lexa's chemistry because it was there…if only more shows would do the same, regardless of super obvious designated love interests.
Heteronormativity is a bitch.
Dottie was my favourite, I loved her 'thorn in my side but sometimes necessary ally' with Peggy. They had insane chemistry.
