I don't know anything about this character from the comics, but I'm loving his addition to the show so far - both the actor and the character. And they're integrating him (maybe temporarily) with the rest of the team sooner than I thought they would (that goes for Daisy too) which is kind of a relief.

I cracked up at Simmon's line reading of "you DO know she's an android right?"

I am exactly that demographic and I was surprised how much I liked this show, in large part due to Rachel Bloom, but they managed to flesh out the supporting cast really well (Greg is the exception maybe, simply because I don't like him). I am so on board for season 2!

I enjoyed all of them, with White Christmas possibly being my favourite. The Waldo Moment was the only one I couldn't care less about, because…politics.

Even better, will be the loss of Kara making those facial reactions to a season's worth of inappropriate comments.

Lady Luthor might fill that Cat void.

I am enjoying seeing both Kara in action and Alex in action, and even better when they get to fight together. As for why she doesn't wear that super power armor all the time, I'd say because it's bulky and doesn't allow much agility like she's shown in her other hand-to-hand struggles.

Their mentor/mentee relationship is one of the best and most well developed of the series so far, and even though I'll miss it, narratively it works having Cat leave that role (albeit sporadically, I don't know how often she's appearing), so that Kara can stand on her own two feet etc etc.

After googling, his name was Maxwell Lord!

It's such a Kara thing to say, I loved it.

Kara hopping/skipping after just disposing of a bad guy might just be.

It can be ;)

I am enjoying the way they are deploying Winn this season. Far cry from how I couldn't stand him at all last season. Well done show.

That's how you set up a season long arc to look forward to!

Brenda Strong! So delighted to see her on this after seeing her as the brilliantly frosty ice queen on The 100, and already, she's running rings around the dude from last season, whose name I can't even remember.

Now it's time to punch your face!

I thought it was just thematic resonance, I'm actually surprised so many think Bernard could be a host, he's clearly not to me.

Yeah I'm surprised it wasn't even mentioned at all. It seemed like a critical moment and I also agree that it was ultimately that voice that pushed her to action. Listening to the voice again, it's hard to tell whose it is, it doesn't sound Hopkins enough, so it could Bernard or 'Arnold'…or something else.

I just remember that guy as the creepy 'stache dude who helped out Abbie and Ilana on Broad City. As soon as a saw him I knew there is no way this guy/bot isn't gross in some way.

Yeah that was my other guess too, that it's Ford. I completely agree, somewhere along the way, I've been given the same impression - that he wants them to become sentient and he cares about them* (this is wildly interpretative). It could be that he's presenting that impression to Bernard and his employees, to what
