Not to mention her look at Dustin when he was asking her to levitate the millennium falcon…only to see her doing it later on with bored ease.
I am completely baffled how that arrangement came about and feel like I've missed something - all I got from it, was that Eleven was alive but I want to know how Hopper got in contact with Eleven, where is she staying, why the kids don't know that she's still alive…
It made me so mad at Lucas, I can't stand him.
I could not stand Jonathan's presumptuous bullshit directed at Nancy though and I was so relieved when she called him out on it and defended herself, saying exactly what I was thinking. I'm not really rooting for this pairing either, Nancy with neither guy I say.
I find him annoying because he's targeting the one person I'm feeling defensive/protective towards and he's being a little irrational about it. El has helped them communicate with Wil, to the detriment of her health as he saw, so clearly if she's misleading them, it's for a good reason. But kids I guess. I'm…
Done! No regrets.
Yes to The Knick reference, it was my first thought upon hearing it and to see 'Cleary' too!
The soundtrack in this episode reminded me of the scoring in The Knick, suffice to say, I loved it.
Angela elicits the first genuine smile we’ve seen from Elliot this season
I've developed one after seeing her as Holtzmann in Ghostbusters, without even knowing who she was prior to it.
There is a gum advertisement video going around she's done and it's simultaneously hot and gross.
I had no idea it was coming and had a manic smile on my face when it did. This show is batshit and I love it and don't for a second think it was cruel.
I'm not a comic reader and couldn't care less about comics, but I've been enjoying this show pretty consistently so far, up until this episode which for me, was a bit of a mess/incoherent. It may also have had to do with the absence of Tulip (she was barely in it) and Cassidy, who are the two best things about the…
How Kit Harington was nominated for playing dead and brooding all season long and Sophie Turner wasn't when they shared a similar storyline easily more carried by the latter, I'll never know.
Agreed about Game of Thrones but I'm most surprised Kit got a nomination - he was acting dead for several episodes even, I mean…that's not much of a step up from what he usually does.
No Eva Green is an absolute travesty.
As a non-book reader, the cutting of their initials into their hands sounds ridiculous and I think they made the right call cutting it out. To be fair, perhaps reading it and how it's written in the books is better than it sounds, but if they had have included it, I think I would have cringed at the cheese.
I also had no issues with her for all the reasons you stated, so much so, I'm surprised by the dislike here. I thought she was very similar looking to Jamie/Sam, so in that sense, the casting was on point. I'm not a book reader though, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
I quite liked how Dorian's plot went nowhere as I felt that was the point - all of this, all of his involvement with Vanessa's story and then Lily's, is just a blip in his long long immortal life and the final shot of him standing there alone, once again bored, just emphasised that to me. However, I do think that…
