I had hoped earlier that their mutual hatred for the guards would band them together somewhat, so it was really heartening to see Sankey refuse to fight Suzanne and for Ruiz's girls to intervene. Small victories against this asshole.

Also, Pennsatucky's puke bag thing and her genuine confusion why it wouldn't be used in this scenario when Nicky questioned it. That horrendously woven thing had a beautiful purpose and she wore it with so much pride.
Nicky: "why not just fucking puke in the bags, and you know, skip the basket?"
Pennsatucky: *confused* " 'cause I made it"
Based on the comments by the actors, this seems to be the case too. I think it was shot quite ambiguous and I didn't pick up on that vibe but it definitely leaves things interesting for next season.
It's just so nice to see them smile when neither of them have for what, seasons?
Arya. Cersei is on her list.
Chilling to know that the scenes showing her get dressed were in preparation for her coronation, not her trial. She was 10 steps ahead.
I was as surprised as Nicky when she asked if he was in love with her - so is he? This has completely gone over my head. I know they've had a fairly friendly dynamic but I never assumed Lyschek had a thing for her, which is definitely not reciprocated.
I assumed this too since it rewarded her with a meeting with Caputo which spurred him to action.
Agreed about MCC, I'm tracing it back as being MCCs fault for employing them in the first place with poor or completely nonexistent screening methods, purely motivated by the dollar as always. The consequences we're seeing is just another byproduct of their corporate carelessness, which I think is what the show is…
I immediately assumed that Sister Ingalls wanted to get caught with the phone so that it would force a meeting with Caputo - the real person she could discuss Sophia with and have any chance of doing something. But I guess her only intention was just to check that Sophia was actually alive and in the shu.
Indeed. In a backwards way, I'm enjoying having the guards so despicable and uniformly hated by the prisoners if only because I am hoping it will help them band together and forget their racial issues (albeit temporarily) and realise that the real enemy is not each other.
I'm rooting for Nicky and Morello, they just both need to give up their addictions/delusions (drugs and Vinnie respectively). Nicky going down the drug rabbit hole is realistically unpleasant and I hope she gets help/helps herself.
Perhaps not revenge, but to me, it just came across as though he is bored and needs this kind of thing to entertain himself…in an insanely messed up and abusing his power kind of way.
I wanted more Maritza but not like this! That guard is an abomination. I think he's on par with Joffrey and on a scale of zero to Joffrey, that's fucked up.
That's exactly it for me, I don't get annoyed by her presence, I just find her entertaining to watch because it's such a mess. Almost like you can't look away and it just keeps getting worse!
I'll add Lolly's "oh no it's the giant" in reference to Piscatella. I had to pause from laughing so hard.
In an episode that got the most laughs out of me yet, turns out to be the saddest at the same time. Jarring but brilliant.
I am enjoying the hell out of hating Piper that I almost love her? It's a strange feeling.
Yeah now we know who doesn't die…spoilers man.
