I would also expect her to be able to deliver a capable news segment, and yet…

Plus the challenges catered to the queens' strengths that season. I would much rather see what Sasha, Shea, and Valentina could do with the Money Ball than with the roast.

Yeah for the (along with Trinity) leading member of team talent this season, Alexis really didn't step up to the plate. Actually, neither one of them did. Disappointed that show had to have two separate team look queens in the top three (yes I consider Sasha on the look side).

I would say that she would definitely be noticeable on pretty much any season, but the amount of presence she has is definitely to make up for the lack of "persona" within the other queens. Say what you will about her, but we haven't had a queen this consistently on since Willam.

Yeah that was Nina. I definitely made a *face* when I heard that.

The last time we were this bereft of comedy queens was probably the very first season to be honest. At least season 3 had Shangela.

She definitely has the persona of a star, and I'd expect to see her on All Stars, but I just want better challenge performances from her.

I guess, but I can't really imagine what a Peppermint stand up set would look like. I think the lack of a Bob or a Bianca is hurting this season.

Was Charlie the only comedy queen this season? I would think that they'd cast at least one that they expected to go far.

I don't know how I felt about Shea's. She's my fave this season in general, but I really don't remember any of her jokes that well. I mean she was fine (certainly deserved the top placement), but nothing she said had a real sense of incredible character. I would have gone Sasha for the win, because it was something I

Yeah having this group of queens go up against previous groups is not necessarily going to lead to favorable results. Shea was funny, but she would have been no more than safe on season 5. I do feel bad for Sasha, constantly getting second place. I hope she can pull out her first solo win next week.
It's looking more

But Survivor not being about making friends is still pretty much a myth. 9 times out of 10, the jury will award the person they're friends with/respect. It's not about making it to the end, it's about making it to the end and having jury votes. Russel completely forgot about the latter factor both times.

Not a Swift/pop listener, but I would like to point out that your comment amounts to: "I had never heard either of those songs, but I am annoyed that they are given peak position because they are probably terrible but I don't know I've never heard them."

I can verify that though she should win most years, RuPaul's win this year was WELL deserved.

If we had simply paid attention to Bowling Green…

HoHW is the story of two brothers in the mid west who decide to rob the bank that screwed them over financially in order to pay back their loan. It's fantastic.

Yeah I despised Hacksaw Ridge. Most of it seemed like unnecessary torture porn. HoHW was pretty good, and especially deserved the nom for portraying a group of people accurately that the Oscars almost always ignore.
