Did anyone else get the Star Trek 'Redshirt' feeling when the first person to come in contact with the spores was completely unknown until that part of the movie? I was wondering who that guy even was once that scene happened….I didn't recall seeing him on the ship at all and I wondered if he even had a line before

I felt exactly the same.

I'm only a few years ahead of you (50) and I can tell you that we're ALWAYS still learning to deal with life. Its not through with you until the end. But, you should remain hopeful, if you can, that you CAN learn to deal with your demons at any age. I used to let fear sing the lead in my brain's concert, but I learned

Looking at his imdb listing, he's been recurring on SNL for years! You have a great eye and I appreciate you pointing it out. I thought it was a commentary on how SNL doesn't have an Asian cast member to fill a part like that.

GOD I hope they change that ending this time.

I agree. I always thought that Jimmy could pass off the entire conversation as a way to talk Chuck off a 'crazy' ledge.

I'm even wondering if they NEED to get possession of the tape. Maybe if they can locate the 'lock and key' location, they can use a powerful enough magnet to erase the tape without even opening said location. Remember BB and Jesse's exclamation, "Magnets, bitch!!" HAHAA

It's funny you say that, because even though I don't remember where it was in the show, I definitely heard a voice or laugh that reminded me specifically of Hank!!

I thought there were lines in previous episodes about him eating 'clean' and there was a final shot of him splurging on some nasty sandwich at some point. That plus the added focus on the martial arts kind of explains it in the story. (But, yeah, its probably for another role.)

Agreed! That twit is a tremendous waste of space and as phony as a $3 bill. I had read about his bile and stupidity (a super toxic mix to begin with) so I avoided Maher's show that night. In watching the online bit above (as much as I could stomach) I feel that much better for having avoided it in the first place. His

Same!

Plus to try to piggy back what our shit AG said on his first day (that its a PERMANENT trend upwards) was disgusting and false.

Might not be a bad standard to adopt in real life too.

Piers is trying SO HARD to become a topic in the states. He simply can not accept we've rejected him (via his shit show on CNN) and he pines for our attention, whether it be negative or positive. He's a gnat on the ass of the Infotainment jackass.

We're not disagreeing. Notice I never said Affleck has a star quality — its Holden that I called a 'movie star', though he wasn't much of an actor.

Conversely, I am probably just as bad. When people I know tell me they went to counseling at church, I'm like "when are you going to get the real stuff, then?" Counseling people/couples based on a religious text seems daffy to me. But, I could be wrong.

Should I somehow combine if I want to fat-fap?

Speaking of 'Birth', I do find a kind of irony in that Nate Parker said in an interview that he'd never play gay because (paraphrasing here) that he wouldn't want to portray a less than Godly or positive version of black masculinity. It seems to him as if gay cannot equal positive. This movie is the example that

I didn't have that kind of crying jag, but it flooded me with emotion. Its a quite beautiful film.

I hate to say it, but this site is way more likely to review 'blue eyed' soul than 'brown eyed' soul. Just sayin'.
