Ward didn't even TRY to avoid her touch! I mean, they were explicitly told to AVOID that and he just stood there like a log with a super weak 'I need back-up' to nobody in particular.

Well after the way Augustin treated him, I hope he never stoops to that level and date Augustin again. Unfortunately that would mean he wouldn't be on the show any longer….but…….no.

Umm…I just saw the soundtrack/score on sale and listened to snippets of the tracks. Guess I better buy it before it disappears! I didn't know it was an unauthorized release!!

While I think we agree in principle, I don't believe one is either 'masculine' or 'feminine' in a binary way; a mix of both is more likely for humans. Nor do I think 'feminine' automatically means 'flamboyant'. To me, flamboyancy has more to do with 'volume', for lack of a better word.

Bwwwwahahahaaa!

I hate to admit it, but I am very much like Patrick in that sense; I LOVE me some weed, but I would NEVER do it the same day I was going to be with my folks…paranoia overload!

I had the EXACT same thought! Have they never heard of the Oscars being the 'Gay Superbowl'?! Thanks to TiVo, I was able to watch one and record the other — 21st Century solutions!

Franklin is flamboyant?? Wow, my scale for flamboyancy is way off. HAHA!

Season two is in the bag!

Since we don't have the story yet on why Ian did what he did, I don't think we can exactly be sure what he did. Knowing the trend, he 'stole' the helicopter hoping to get kicked out, it didn't work, so he went AWOL.

Nor does white. ;-)

Invalid = Frank

I love how it punctures Marnie's undeserved sense of superiority. She's a dummy.

"Wiener on a half shell" is my new favorite put-down.

Ghost writer….

Sorry, I think the ONLY reason she broke into song was because he was handsome and new. Especially after Ray's rejection.

Understood. And by using the word 'suffer' I didn't mean to imply you used the word specifically. I'm just picking up (maybe mistakenly) that you believe there should be some textual representation/exploration of Patrick's privilege and that he should be excoriated for it. Again, my words, not yours.

Being a 'gay/queer of color', I would defend how well it actually portrays Patrick's poor understanding of his place in racial politics of the scene. This show is very accurate about his character, as well as about Richie, Augustin or Frank (to the extent we know them — this show is really about Patrick).

Every good fiction needs a good villain. I think Auggie fits that PERFECTLY! I wouldn't want him to leave at all.

I have a feeling that given Patrick's deep misgivings about even being gay come out around other gay people, we'll really see/hear some moronic shit from him once he's around his family. If you think he was about pumping up Richie's worth around his friends/boss, just wait until FAMILY is around!!
