I think we differ on Misty being the Supreme. Other than that, we agree on all the rest. Myrtle deserved more screen time and I was pissed she was so absent the first few episodes.

OK, I am probably done with this series, BUT: what is left for them as far as horror subject matter?
You hit the nail on the head in almost all cases. A big crappy build up to NOTHING.
Its good, but like porkcfish said, then it makes you have to wait an extra week (almost) for the next new one.
I'm waiting for a Grindr for people my weight. (And, no, I don't need no Growlr, thanks very much!)
Well we know that it's going to be a setback for their relationship whenever it happens.
I think/hope that Patrick getting enough grace to be in Richie's world is what this season is about for him. I HOPE we see a lot more of Richie (Castillo)!
NO, that film sounds horrible! HAHA! The movie I am talking about is a group of (mostly) bears and the men attracted to them. It, surprisingly, has an impressive amount of real emotion and real world reactions to things. It's definitely a stand out in the world of mediocre to rotten gay cinema.
Men of A Certain Age was wonderful.
Yes, his commentary was cringe worthy. But, that IS how some gay guys talk. OK, MANY gay guys talk. Maybe the show will have something to really say about that as it goes on. Maybe not, but I'm willing to see where it goes.
I've seen 'Bulk', and only heard of 'Where the Bears Are'. I may try to squeeze it in before this series ends.
I lived in Sacramento at the same time (more so mid 90s) and found that to be true. I was constantly in the city but nobody I knew lived IN the city!
To be fair, that was part of the reason he was talking about moving in with his boyfriend in Oakland because it's so expensive in SF. But, point well taken.
It didn't feel as glossy as 'SATC' to me. And the lack of voiceover telling me how to feel about Patrick was also a relief. Though I wouldn't call it realistic as the first description, I would say I could instantly identify with at least two incidents/situations immediately, and I'm not in these guys' demo. While its…
I agree, there isn't a better gay-themed movie to date.
You got that shit right!!
I cringed/cracked up when Patrick described his ex's fiance as 'portly'. And when you see him (fleetingly) he's barely even chubby, and that description wouldn't even fit. (And I know Patrick was being catty.) Yes, it would be nice to see some of the bigger gays represented, but honestly, we've got 'Bear City' for…
No he told him to pay $25 for his drinks and he paid $15 for his own.
Plus the not-so-sly test about the additional drink. First it was to see if he'd take it ('does he drink too much for my tastes?') and then making him pay for it when he implied he was buying it for him. Great character touch.
IMO, enough of the anthology treatment for now. I love the idea of a long form exploration of specific characters rather than just six episodes at a time.
