I love how Carol never hesitates. She's such a cold-hearted killer now and exactly the type of person I'd want on my side. She also has the element of surprise since she looks like Martha Stewart. Those Saviors didn't stand a chance. But now that they cleared them all out, I think Negan is going to do something

Is it just me or has this season of Shameless been the worst yet? Not much has really happened and there is no main story/plot to follow. I literally have no idea what is going to happen and, while unpredictability is usually a good thing, in this case it is not since nothing is actually happening. Did we really need

Best episode of the season so far. Sure, the plan wasn't well thought out but at least they did something and made the first move. Also, watching Rick repeatedly punch a decapitated head in the face was gold!

I love you.

I wasn't feeling this episode. There wasn't a whole lot going on…I mean, Jimmy made an ad and Mike got a new job. Nothing all that exciting. Plus they hyped up the meeting with Mike and his new employer and it only turned out to be Nacho? I was hoping for Gus from Breaking Bad because that would have been epic!

I loved it! This season has been awesome! I'm assuming you weren't a fan of the movie either, Adam?

I absolutely hated the Dirty Dancing movie but I loved this episode of The Goldbergs! Anyone who remembers this film can relate in some way and I can't get enough of all of these '80s references!

I completely agree with you!

Everyone who hasn't read the book, do yourself a favor and pick it up! I will also say that this series is doing an awesome job and FINALLY I can say that this might actually be a Stephen King novel done RIGHT (look no further than Under the Dome for an adaptation that went horribly wrong)!

This is a very good point. I know that the 'character' of the defendant is something that comes up often in criminal trials but I can't say I've ever seen anything like this happen.

Good points but I'm still pretty sure a lawyer should not be doing this kind of thing regardless. In my opinion, this is the kind of thing that could get you disbarred (at least in Canada).

Ya I read that somewhere, that he never actually passed out in the courtroom. I thought they kinda ruined the opening arguments with that :(

Three things I didn't even know happened from this trial: Bill passing out because of the surprise witnesses, the jury going to OJ's house but not before the defense redecorated and Fuhrman allegedly being a Nazi (WTF). Also, does anyone know how the hell the defense was able to get away with Extreme Makeover: Home

"Those guns are no match for our wooden spears!" :)

Yes

If I was Rick, I would have just taken everything from Hilltop since all they have is wooden spears and then I'd go fight Negan and his crew on a full belly from two bases. But I guess I can live with the civil approach too.

I came up with so many good memes and gifs from this episode (http://mikeydislikesit.com/…, loved it! I didn't realize how much of an influence Faye's book had on jury selection. Also, does anyone else think of Pauly Shore whenever they see Judge Ito?

Mikey either likes it or dislikes it…there is no in between :)

I loved the premiere and I loved this episode as well. I think the only thing they should have done to make this better was to have Jake fail his mission a couple of times first and have to go back and reset the past. This would have really illustrated that the past is not so simple to change.

“There’s no way to pretend it never happened. The good news is you can always hit the reset button.” Let's hope they hit the reset button on this season because Lip, Ian, Deb and Fiona are trapped in some very boring stories. Plus, Kev and V officially have nothing to do now that Yanis is dead and those Myanmar
