I'm Autistic and suffer from major clinical depression (along with a constellation of other mental illnesses).
For me, Autism is much easier to manage. It's the fucking depression that drains all the joy and hope and connection out of life, and I can't do a damn thing about it. Autism, for me, isn't life threatening.
