Absolutely agree with that. I guess they really wanted a cliffhanger for one episode, finishing the theater plot thread and at the same time have a cool chase scene and badass resolution for Arya.

I think HBO sacrificed a lot of continuity and realism to do as much damage control for this season as possible, so when the next one starts, they can hit the ground running and don't look back.

This episode deserves a standing ovation. Just like the C-Span one, creators and writes once again took a different approach and delivered on all fronts.

I think RHCP are getting close to the point where they can start selling just the idea of an album. They can come to fans and say: "Try to imagine that RHCP sound. Can't say I totally agree with the grade here. Felt like a great episode. Yea, you could say that the whole plot was almost too wacky for this show (and at the same time, something not that unique), but I enjoyed the slower pace and the way writer's juggle all the small elements.

Also Ben's reaction to Mike's Mary Poppins line was quite beautiful. Subtle, but beautiful.
