I think a lot of people gave up 4 songs in, called it bleep boop album and never looked back. It's not like I blame them, I just disagree and think they are missing out. It might not be as revolutionary as KID A, but it feels like a same blueprint, just affected / inspired by different styles of electronic music.
I think the album is absolutely great. It took me like a week or two to properly get into it, but now I hug it as much as I hug my parents other Radiohead albums.
This better be the best goddamn 8 CDs album made in this decade.

I liked Allmusic's take on it:
Codex became one of my favorite songs by Radiohead ever. It has incredible relaxing ability, it's hauntingly calm and uses silence very well.
I think it took me like two weeks to get properly into it. I ended up loving it.
