I haven't been into RHCP for a while, but that's a really underrated album. "Dosed" and "Venice Queen" are two of their best songs.

I thought Lady Jessica was pretty rad until Paul started to come into his powers or whatever and she got timid all of the sudden. I liked Chani at first, too, but the book lost me when everyone started getting all subservient and shit.

I hate that line, probably because the term 'solo cup' makes me think of stupid people.

I'm all about "Entangled." Gorgeous song. The instrumental mellotron/synth outro is breathtaking.

Phil's a criminally underrated musician. Lost me when he went full-on adult contemporary in the 90s, but he's still cooler than the edgelords who have to shit on him at every opportunity because South Park. Awesome interview.
