I read an interview with these guys where one of them dropped the phrase "the Brooklyn of Syracuse" unironically. They are, as far as I can tell, as faux as they come.

All right, internet, let's try and keep it assy. Shit!
I've never been particularly invested in "good ol' fashioned values," but the kind being transmitted by Lucas McCain have almost nothing to do with what Fox News is peddling. He's Mr. Rogers with a repeater—no wonder I have such a dad crush.
At least Watt's playing on it. Reason enough for me to give it a listen.
It's top-shelf DS9. If you like Nog, you'll love it. Can't guarantee it'll warm you to Vic, but if you're wondering what anybody sees in the character, it's all there in that episode.
James Darren's take from the DS9 series finale will always be my (admittedly sentimental) favorite.
I bought this on VHS for $2 at a soon-to-be-closed Video King. I was sixteen and I don't think I really got a lot of what this movie is saying, but I loved it. The fact that I could relate so deeply to a Steve Buscemi character at that age…well, that sounds about right.
I'm so glad Miike finally made a movie I can stomach.
When I'm in need of treacly Britpop, I turn to Athlete's "Chances," which features a killer bass line and also reminds me of a really good episode of Doctor Who.
Just listening I thought he was full of shit as soon he started talking. The Adam Goldberg comparison someone made on stage seemed apt.
I was good for about nine hours of Demon's Souls. Loved the atmosphere, the lore, the gameplay; didn't have the patience to keep progressing. Same as when I was a kid—get stuck at a certain point and quit. My life is frustrating enough, I don't need the games I play to pile any more on. I love that these days I can…
I loved Rose, and I loved the 10th Doctor, but I kind of hated them together—way too cutesy. I came around to the relationship eventually, but only when shit got dark. Hope that doesn't say too much about me.
The completionist thing, it's like a sickness. I've been trying to get through the first season of Babylon 5 for six months.
It's absurd how much I ended up liking Vic. I had a hard time finding anything to like about His Way, but in subsequent appearances (especially Paper Moon—one of my favorite episodes) Darren totally sold me on a truly ridiculous character.
Frisky Dingo will always have a place in my slideshow.
Are you Franklinough to be my Bash?
