This is one of the roles I feel like Arrow has cast perfectly, and while I know there will be know continuity, bringing in Cynthia Addai-Robinson would be a good move.

I could see a list not including Guardians, Winter Soldier, and the Lego Movie, but not if it's going to waste space on Lucy and Godzilla… And the lack of Whiplash and Birdman are travesties, especially considering Nymphomaniac gets a top 5 spot.

I mean, you'd think Steven Fucking Spielberg would be able to find someone to write a good story…

How many times do we have to go over Spectacle Creep, Hollywood? We don't want bigger, scarier, or more dinosaurs… We want better stories, crisper writing, and higher tension. The first movie succeeded by barely using the T-Rex, making it an even more anxiety inducing creature. If this whole film is just "giant scary

I'd actually love to see this movie set in actual 1984, with the big hair, music, and Ronald Reagan. I know how much the technology and impending nature plays a part in the book, but this could actually be a fantastic dark comedy.

Completely disagree with the grade, since 2 of the 5 sketches (3 of 6 if you count the car scenes) completely fell flat for me, and the froyo scene barely worked. But I just could not find any decent jokes in the Stan Lee bit, and the one with the kid was predictable, one-note, and far too long… This would have been

I don't buy that completely, since some of the greatest villains of all time show up in action or superhero movies (Hans Gruber, Doc Ock, either of the Jokers). Marvel movies just haven't seemed as interested in developing complicated villains, unless they're Loki and need them for future franchises…

That final scene with The Doctor, Whitehall, and Ward gets me so excited for the back half of this season. With only a couple exceptions, Marvel movie villains have suffered from being just pure evil, without really compelling motives or personalities. But with our three big bads all forming an uneasy alliance where

"Hello, my name is Dr. Karl Stromberg, and this is my henchman, Jaws"
Jaws bows head and gnashes metal teeth

I think the Rick and Morty comparison is apt, but not for the same reason as the reviewer. Both offered really good takes on the whole Total Recall/endless plot twists trend of recent films, but I think succeeded much more by letting the boys be the substitute for the audience, which is why the "Oh, Fuck Yoouuu" gag

What I don't get is Coulson's reluctance to use Skye as an actual agent, especially in regards to the Ward situation. Worried he's going to blow up a building? Throw Skye in there! He's already demonstrated several times he won't hurt her, and would at the very least just run away…

"If, later on, I come across a good movie, I won’t not do it just because I said I wouldn’t."

I am against sack dances on principle with a few key exceptions. Basically a touchdown deserves a dance either because it was a beautiful/athletic play or changed the dynamic of the game. But a sack is hardly ever one of those two things. If you force a fumble, stop a drive dead in its tracks, or pull one of those

Roy wasn't there on the roof when Sara was shot, so how could he dream the exact words she used when she died? I'm inclined to believe this may be more of him remembering than imagining…

Soooo are we not going to even mention that stinger with Roy? That seems like something we should talk about… I mean, I didn't just like hallucinate that did I?

Armin Hammer? The guy from The Social Network and The Lone Ranger?

These silly threads always Accelerate so quickly

I would be the PeeWee's Playhouse Killer: Everyday I'd randomly pick a "secret word" and whenever someone used it that day, I'd pop up out of nowhere in a grey suit and red bowtie screaming "AAAAAAaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAHHHhhhHHh!" and stabbing them in the chest with an icepick…

What if this whole Civil War thing is just a ruse to get a rise out of us comic book nerds, and Cap 3 is going to involve Scarlet Witch sending Steve back in time to the 1800s to fight the confederacy? RDJ plays Lincoln.
