why does it bother people that jesse is a different character? what's so fascinating about jesse in the books besides he's a really good guy and a total badass?

i get that you don't like it, but you can't just say "it's different so it's bad." jesse's greatest flaw in the comics is that he's, uh, too honorable. kinda boring. giving him some pride and making his rage issues less romantic deepens the character and gives him an actual dramatic arc.

jesus… people really thought the boys was a gem? i stopped reading about a third of the way through the run, when does it get good? i mean, i'm a fan of ennis's shtick but that was like a bad parody of his worst excesses in my opinion.
