Indeed.
I could watch it as a fun show… if ithe dialogues were not so bland and boring.
Even during the "girls talk about meaningless sex" scene…
Man, that was bad.

You're certainly right.
At point, I thought that it was a budgetary decision… (you know, with a 26 episodes season airing exclusively on Hulu ?).
But this episode just reminded me that Messina is the only character (besides Mindy) that can not be replaced.

Indeed.
And that's fascinating how you can jump entire seasons and get everything with a quick "previously on".
That's still a little more difficult today with CW dramas… where you can get kind of lost.

Gotham… That's harsh.
Try Southland. At least, you can watch it as the OC in reverse : with a rich kid who learns what real life is working with ordinary people.

Sorry, but Shia is not a reliable commodity anymore.
Right now, Spielberg is certainly more stuck with that casting choice than Harrison Ford being old.

Indeed.
But the writers led to believe that the show is cancelled.
The french ratings were really bad, and the three years gap since the first season seems to be responsible.

Because it was a comedy written by Darren Star where the secondary characters were dumber than the pretty lead actor.
While here, it's a John Wells drama where the secondary characters are almost prettier than the lead, and help him to be less dumb.

That reminds more that old Buffy spin-off project about Faith's adventures as a renegade slayer, riding a bike.

That always looked so dumb.

I think that's gonna be my reaction when we'll see Lara Flynn Boyle again.

I guess that Rihanna loved Lucy.

Or maybe it's just the all box office hit thing.

Indeed !
This baby looks like he comes from a post-modern Disney movie.
He's that cute.

Indeed.
But I'm really rooting for the episode where Mindy's parents are gonna come, and mess with all that.

Indeed.
This show clearly starts to become one of the darkest dramas I've seen on broadcast network for a while.
Behind the apparent joy, the songs, and the colors, each one of the characters is miserable, and sometimes near a state of depression.
Even the shy but nice bartender appeared in this episode as being lost too…

In fact, this is something they could have done in a season premiere, back in the days.
But instead of "what happened during the summer ?", it's gonna be "what happened during the last 8 years ?".
This all thing looks like an homage to the WB teen/family dramas…
I'm definitely in.

Well, they've written a comedy heist film called Gambit, starring Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth, released 3 years ago.
It was awful.

Indeed !
Her "Girls" spoof, starring Tina Fey, was pretty good.

McTiernan's return is a sweet dream… (especially when the man prefers to do a Thomas Crown 2).
I would be fine with Shane Black… The guy is already working on Predator 3 for the same studio.

A McLane/Zeus reunion was the only way to save this franchise…
Willis and Jackson can't do wrong together. I mean… Die Hard 3, Pulp Fiction, Unbreakable.
What else ?

I think that Shia LeBeouf is not really studios material, since he said Indy 4 was bad.
But I'm still worried…
This is a studio who thought that Jai Courtney could be McLane's son.

Great plot.
With a special cameo of Powell. Because at one point, they ALMOST met.

A Lindelof original idea.
