I agree, it was too realistic. Comedy is supposed to be zany and fu, like a baby and a dog enrolling at college, not gritty and nolany like a boy and an alien in a wig and magical shorts taking a bus ride.

Its a show that was boring when they tried to make it a clone of the mother program, but once it found its ow identity has easily eclipsed the original, more famous work to become one of the best comedies on tv.

And that makes the show worse. Bleeped swearing is always funnier, because it can be anything. When a character said shit before, the bleep made it into a joke, whereas now it feels like dialog.
