That's a good way of putting it. I always see Philip as doing what he does because if he doesn't, and something goes awry or doesn't work out, his family is immediately in danger. It's sometimes difficult for me to understand his motives and where he's coming from properly.

I also found the conversation between Philip and Yousaf very interesting, when the former tried to explain why he continues to do the awful things he does. "You look around, you see what a hell this world is, for people most of the time. And you think about what it can be, what you could do about it." Philip was kind

That scene with Elizabeth in the garage arriving home from 'work' was a terrific combination of lighting/photography/acting. Keri Russell looked about 10 years older and the inner turmoil going on inside Elizabeth at that moment was so well portrayed to the audience; again, so much said with nobody actually saying

You've misspelled Chris Brody.

*shrugs* I find her to be a perfectly normal teenage girl. A lot of older sisters treat their younger brother like mums. It's normal. Sounds like you might be projecting a little, no offense.

I don't entirely approve of Dylan protecting Caleb, but on the other hand his "You don't understand what it means to be to have a family" just broke my gosh darned heart. Max Theirot has made Dylan such a sympathetic and vulnerable character.

I don't understand why Paige is annoying at all. Sure, she has her bratty teenage moments typical for a girl of her age, but she has every right to question her parents' secrecy and why they keep so much from her. That doesn't make her annoying, that makes her a normal human being.

The new title of Ken Cosgrove's novel, to be revealed in the series finale. Calling it now.

The entity probably just being in the religion then - it's in its very nature and its followers to be missionary and recruit as many 'lost sheep' as they can find. In that sense it's similar to the Cause that the Jennings and the Soviets believe in.

Ugh, that above reply was written by me (Mickey). Disqus is messing up.

I've been wondering the same thing about that girl too. The thing is though, if she were an agent she'd have to have been observing or tailing Paige for a hella long time and in great detail because if memory serves correctly, Paige's decision to visit Aunt Helen was a very last minute, spontaneous move. It wasn't

Philip's hatred for Pastor Tim gives me life.

I swear to God, if this show goes ignored this year, I will go into training as a spy myself, find out all the Emmy voters' addresses and get them all onto Scientology's mailing lists.

This episode was truly outstanding. But only the first truly great this season? Really?

Oh my god. You guys, I just… I have no words.

Will Martha turn into a pigeon in the end?

You ain't got the answers, beema!

Awesome 80's music, crazy fight scenes, great Russian actors, someone yells "RONALD REAGAN DOESN'T CARE", Keri Russell being hot, Matthew Rhys being hot, Margo Martindale being awesome, kickass women, JOHN BOY WALTON…. and saving the best for last, a mail robot whose loyalties are yet to be determined.

DON'T SAY THAT YOU'LL CANCEL ME!

This is beautiful.
