… and us in the central time zone. The best numbers I can find is that 80% of the US population lives in the central or eastern time zone. So that's pretty good. Apologies to the 5% of you that live in the mountain time zone.

Gimme RED OAKS! Looks legit and right in my wheelhouse.

I don't see how this can't be the last season of the show. I think it obviously just barely got renewed this season on the pretense that they had to shake it up. With ratings falling to new lows this summer and American Idol having its swan song, too, it just seems like time for Fox to usher in a new era.

Yeah, pretty much from the very beginning, particularly on the stage side of things. You don't dance that well at ballet without getting very far professionally. Thus, the name of show is a bit of a misnomer. I would guess most of the top 20 has been dancing a lonnnnnng time, and even getting paid at some point.

Jim was just as good as the great Alex Wong in that amazing piece last night. But Jim's going to be juuuuuuust fine. I mean, he's already a star ballet dancer in a great company.

I think he gave Gaby and Jaja a big push this season but you know in his heart of hearts he wanted Gaby to win.

I don't agree with that. I think the dance snob voting block is tiny compared to other voting blocks, like teens swooning for hot bods. I mean, I wrote about this show for 5 years and I rarely voted. When I did voted this year in the first or second week, I voted for Jim and Jaja, who couldn't be more different. Jim

I'm both surprised and not surprised Gaby won. She was never in the bottom so it was clear she had long-term support. I would have preferred Jaja or Virgil since they brought more personality to the competition. The tapper voting block must be strong on this show since there have been a few tappers that have gone much

Harper's Island was a blast. I want to re-watch that one.

Just a reminder: Lost's biggest twist came about 60% through its run. WP's biggest twist came around 45%. Soooo kind of in the middle of their runs. Assuming there's not a bigger twist than what we saw last night.

Maybe they have an egg timer for the hibernation pods? Set it and forget it!

I bet they still have a capability to freeze people inside WP. If things start looking shitty, freeze everybody, set the timer for 1000 years, and take another crack at it then. I'm wondering if that's what Pilcher has been doing. Getting frozen/unfrozen every 50 years and taking a helicopter ride to see what's

The quick cuts were what sold it - I think there was overlapping dialogue, too.

The wall only goes around about 1/3 of WP, right? The other 2/3 is in some mountain valley? I'll have to find that crude map again and compare it to actual Boise geography.

What was your guess for the twist?

I mean, there is some truth about adults being set in their ways and kids being more easily molded into a certain belief. I agree that it's a little forced but it still works for me. I'm curious why it's been 2000 years for most of the wake-ups. Why not wait 1000 years? Why not 5000 years? Why is NOW the right time?

If you were disappointed by the reveal. you were probably going to be disappointed at some point no matter what. It's impossible to be a mystery show, reveal mysteries, and then please everyone. I thought it was a fairly clever edit - quicker cuts between scenes than the previous four episodes as a way to intersperse

I'm thinking Pilcher is frozen and unfrozen every hundred years or so to check up on things. I don't know but I get the impression that WP in its current form has only been around for 15-20 years or so. However, much of the infrastructure of WP must have been built when there were people and maintained along the way.

How bad is life as an abbie? Roaming the wilderness, munching on deer, super hearing and smell. Sounds good to me. Better than working for the man.
The abbies are some kind of genetic mutation and they're referred to as "devolved." They seem to lack speech capabilities which is generally associated with the highest

It's a tough real estate market when the world is a wasteland. Home with a yard? SOLD.
