I know, and that's what the writers have tried to sell us IMO. Like Alex, I find it kind of gross, out of character, and to me it seems more like they needed to give the actors something to do, so let's just rehash the same counter ("Nemma" then to "Dylemma") "will they, won't they" thing from Season 1 and maybe hook

Probably so. But do they really need some Shakespearean actress to play some White Pine Bay Gap Girl Gone Bad? This is not Game of Thrones… it's just Bates Motel. *L*

Good points. Don't forget how Norma embarrassed him during his driving test, and kept him from having a license, keeping him further co-dependent on her, repressed, and isolated at the hotel. She handled that SO intelligently.

Geez, did some Bradley look-a-like shoot you down too in high school or something? *L* Yeah, you have been all over this board about "Bradley." Poor Nicola Peltz… just some young actress trying to make it in a fickle, competitive business. She's not that bad, and her brief scenes in the Hotel more than served the

By the way, thanks for the reply Alex. I enjoy good editorial type discussions on writing and character. Your S.M.G. / Buffy av, however, threw me there for a second. Might I suggest: http://cdn.lolhappens.com/w…

Still disagree with you. I think Nicola Peltz was the victim of the Bradley Martin storyline wedged back in too quickly (and now RDM's strange, obsessive dislike *L*). I thought her last, brief scene with Norman in the car and back at the hotel were quite fine actually for what they were. I always got the

In a way, the "Dylemma" *cringe* might be fueling what you called the Bradley Problem, by timing her inevitable return with this new nauseating crush / soap opera. 'Salty Dog' below summed up her character / purpose well, as being the unattainable fantasy girl who has fallen hard off her pedestal to become, as I

I think you hit the nail right on the head. Or the hammer right into the pedestal. You seem to be the only poster who got the Bradley storyline. Norman Bates also seems to have a soft spot for vulnerable and broken women.

Sorry posters, but the Dylan making goo goo eyes at all of Norman's little high school girlfriends is weak and continually makes me have less respect for the character. Maybe they should have kept him with the pot heiress or a new adult character. And considering Emma's bond / crush with Norman since season 1 makes

I think this Dylan / Emma sudden story tangent is terrible. It's too much like the Bradley storyline. Wish they would have come up with something much more creative than this. I'm not buying it, and am starting to lose interest. It's becoming too much like a soap opera.
